They definitely don't seem to be appealing to the mainstream.

Grab Xenophanes for more Omar goodness, all the tracks have spanish vocals except for two filler tracks.

Omar isn't taking the creative and directive lead on this album, right? It sounds like that kept this song more focused. Hopefully there aren't going to be long ambient segments or weird kinda pointless stuff. The couple minutes of doodling between songs on Frances the Mute and the long silence between tracks on Octahedron are in the past, hopefully.

EDIT: Content!

"Zed and Two Naughts"? So... Z00? The last track is called Z00.

Yeah I noticed the other post after I made mine, so I trimmed out the fat and left that awesome picture and tracklist for more discussion.

When is TMV's record contract expire? I think they're past the point where a recording company will help them.

Also, the album and tshirt preorder is a great deal, you'd pay that much for the shirt itself at a concert.

It's from the Rolling Stones article.

I'm liking this album. It has so much more balance and focus than previous works.

On the leak... when will record labels realize that not releasing music for sale as it becomes available will result in leaks and piracy? People are impatient, and we have no need to wait for things to arrive in stores any more with technology nowadays. I've already ordered the album, but dammit I'm not going to sit on my thumb and wait a month for it. The music is held up by an archaic printing process.

I didn't download the leak because I'm cheap or want to steal it, I just want the music as soon as possible. I would have paid for the digital album so I could listen to it while I wait for the physical copy.

I like TMV more than ATDI. I like beauty and melody in my songs. I like both.

I keep coming back to the drums; I'm not a fan of the skittering drums in In Absentia. Also not a fan of the wailing and awkward words of Trinkets Pale of Moon. I only look forward to that song because Velamalady is next.

So Noctourniquet is the last TMV album with Dictator Omar. I can't wait to hear how the sound will change. I'm hoping that they add some more members; I miss the horn sections. The horns are my favorite part of Amputechture.

Really good! I was just bumming out about TMV not being around, and now it's blasting through my speakers.
