Does un-ticking the add-on bar do the same thing as closing all the add-ons in the bar, i.e. does it automatically reappear?

Anyone else on Aurora 16? I can't seem to get the new theme to work (if it has been implemented). I do, however, have the new download icon next to the search bar which is very sexy. May finally let me stop using download statusbar.

Aurora 17 seems pretty stable to me so far. I like the new tab movement behaviour, though it caught me off-guard at first.

Anyone having issues with youtube on the 20th Sept Aurora build? The pages load but the video box just remains blank. Flash video works everywhere else.

That seems cool but the rules settings seem to be a lot more to me. Youtbe was a giant white page with text and placeholders all over the place. The memory footprint is a lot smaller though.

I use Speed Dial (also available in the addon store) which is fairly basic but does what I need it to while being configurable. Does anyone have any tips on how to use tree style tabs? One issue I can't figure out on my own is getting threads from the SA user cp to open up as child tabs (middle click last read thread button -> new tab), not as independant ones.

Bokito posted:I'm on the beta channel, and a couple of days ago I started to have frequent crashes whenever the Flash plugin was used on a page (after an update to 41b9 which was still called b9 for some reason). Sometimes Firefox would just hang, and sometimes it would even crash the Intel graphics driver (black screen followed by a popup that the graphics driver crashed). On a couple of websites the crashes were 100% repeatable. I've been having this issue and I thought it had something to do with my setup. I'll give that fix a shot and report back.

What that man said. Even the nightly/alpha builds will use the same profile from a different install location.

It's because the profile is stored in ~user/appdata/local which doesn't require additional permissions to access or whatever.

Be careful if you're updating to x64 FF44b9 and have enabled e10s support, flash pages will crash every tab (quite gracefully I must add) without fail. This might just be something on my end too, but I wanted to post a heads up just in case.

It might not have anything to do with flash, the tab crashes if there is any gifv/webm/gif embedded. e; okay gently caress if I know, could be anything. e; e; figured it out, it was one of the registry tweaks to enable e10s. reverting those stopped the crashes.
