Dear Mr. Crofts, are you going to Season's Beatings this year? Wanna play that skullgirls.
Also, are you from Michigan Hippo? I could have sword I've played on that stick before or someone with identical artwork and bezelwork. HORSEPORN fucked around with this message at Sep 23, 2011 around 03:23 |

This is the first major I'll be able to attend this year so I'm kinda excited to actually play skullgirls. Looking forward to it! Yeah it was just the artwork + bezel coloring that threw me off. I'd love to play with you but my local cable company is run by a couple of incompetent hicks; the latency and packet loss is bad enough that GGPO is unplayable.

I've only ever played twice but lately I've been on a kick of picking up old fg's that I missed the boat on competitively, so I've been playing ST and vsav more. Would definitely be down to actually learn this game because I'm having a lot of fun with it so far.

Tomorrow morning, there's a CEO tournament for those of you in the Orlando area. That's not the important part. What is important is that this is the first ever tournament with a Salty Runback Bracket. The first 8 people to go 0-2 will be placed into a single-elimination side tournament. The winner of that tournament will get their entry fee refunded to them. edit: entree how the hell did i bungle that up Broken Loose fucked around with this message at Sep 24, 2011 around 03:19 |

Tae posted:45 minutes of Persona 4 gameplay: http://shoryuken.com/2011/09/22/tgs...-arena-footage/ Looks like the size of the super bar increases when a character is down to about 33% life. Also, the gauge under the health bar seems to be a Jojo kinda thing where if your persona gets hit four times, you have to wait to call it (about 12 seconds).

Yeah at low health you get 50 super, your bar goes to 150, and you take less damage.

Why in God's name would they put a "1 hit combo" indicator in a game?

Broken Loose posted:Why in God's name would they put a "1 hit combo" indicator in a game? Yeah, that is the one thing that really bothers me. The combo indicator stays out way too long. The sliding bar under it seems to let you continue a combo (count wise) even after the opponent recovers. I don't know what the hell they mean by that, maybe there is some weird scaling thing going on or bonus at certain number of hits or something but it seems really strange to me.

In case you can't see from the previous footage there's a bar under the hit counter that shows how long you have until the opponent hit flips out of the combo, it shows 1 hit to show how long you have to combo off of the hit I guess.

Just my personal prefrence, but I would rather go into training or practice and turn on all the extra infos so I can see the details of a combo instead of seeing random stuff on the screen all the time. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still buying this poo poo regardless. Xlyfindel fucked around with this message at Sep 25, 2011 around 01:39 |
