Just imagine the impact this will have on the fighting game community. I don't think it will survive. Time to quit playing, I guess.

ThePhenomenalBaby posted:There are several reasons but here's a time out situation that really shouldn't happen. I'd find worse videos but the game isn't really played by anyone anymore so maybe someone with more knowledge and experience will come and post about it. Still pretty funny they had this game at Tougeki last year. Then again, they had Capcom Fighting Jam in 2005.

From what I understand, tiers in Super Turbo don't really exist anymore.

Players who have qualified for SBO in ST and played it there.

ZerodotJander posted:I've heard Damdai say something similar to this, the way I understood him is that it's not so much "tiers don't exist" as that Super Turbo is a game where every character has an answer to everything. This is what I meant, but I heard it in a video John Rambo made after SBO talking about difference in ST in the US and Japan etc.

The Rokstar posted:Tom Brady's ramblings are usually pretty hard to sit through, but his story about his experience with the DOA community is hilarious. He always sounds mad or really depressed in his rambling videos, but I enjoy them. Tom Brady is a nice guy though, he did his best trying to make the DOA community better and the same thing now with MK but people usually just seem to give him poo poo for it.

How will all of this affect the fun ratio? Will we no longer have fun playing Smash? I am confused.

Heads up: "Today is the last chance to submit a question for The Marvel Files with Mike Ross & Fanatiq! Write to them: AskDrSubZero@Yahoo.com" Sounds like it could be an interesting show. Any of you Marvel players send them questions about Maaahvel and anything related.

All the TE:s are the same expect they have different art. Though didn't the MvC2 TE have problems with the wiring of the buttons?

You pretty much need to live in Japan to play it. Isn't the console version like 5 versions old at this point?

I don't play it myself but the anime playing crowd are probably a bit disappointed. Isn't the newest version coming out for console in a couple of month? Nice to see KoF13 and Soul Calibur 5 in there anyway.

You have got to hit-confirm it and then cancel to super. Learning to hit-confirm lk, lk is a bit hard. I would recommend trying with lk, lp, lk (Works on all crouching characters) first and then go learn the 2 hitter (doing lk, lp works just as well). For example, if the 2 kicks hit, do the QCFx2 after you have pressed the last kick button so it buffers during the animation and then drum the kick buttons.
