It's a good thing I looked around before purchasing any of the Telltale games. I already have Sam & Max on Steam, and it works well enough, so I'll just buy whatever other games on the PC as well. Had about $10 sitting on my PSN Wallet for the past two years, so I just bought the SCEA-published indie games and added funds to buy the remaining PSone Classics games I didn't already have.

Basically the same kind of fearless jumping like a Super Meat Boy with some odd skills added via the various janitors you can choose. Dash of anime if that matters. I had it on my list but I just have too many games to lump in a score attack game because if those hook me I'm going to lose a hell of a lot of hours.

To the guy asking about Skyrim a few pages back. I just bought the Legendary edition (I think that's what it's called) and finished the main campaign and most of the Dragonborn DLC and had little to no problems. If you haven't played Fallout 3 and Skyrim, absolutely buy them. Fallout 3 is easily one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had and Skyrim is just as good if you're into the fantasy genre. Go get it now.

Fallout 3 on PS3 was fine up until I started playing the DLC campaigns. I played the main game pretty thoroughly first, though, so I dunno if playing the DLCs to start off would be better. But around Operation: Anchorage, the game was just chugging constantly and freezing every 40 minutes. Made it utterly unplayable--but not until 100 or so hours had already been put into it. It's just frustrating to lose all that time, though. New Vegas was worse. Didn't even make it to the DLC. Didn't even make it to the end of the game. I had to play the final mission while saving constantly because the game was freezing every 10 minutes. I will never again buy a Bethesda product on a PS3.

Honestly, it's a miracle that Bethesda's RPGs work at all on the PS3. It was a great console for its time, but those are undeniably PC-centric open world games, and the PS3 has a measly 256mb of RAM and 256MB of VRAM to work with. On 360, it's a tiny bit more flexible - 512mb which can be allocated one way or the other - but 2gb is the bare minimum requirement for those games on PC.

A friend of mine got around it by taking loot he didn't need and sticking it in the corpses of random enemies. That way when the dead bodies disappeared, the loot went with it. That seemed to solve the problem for him. By that point my save file was already nigh unplayable, so I just didn't bother.

Bethesda has had the same problem with all of their games for about a decade now and they seem to be unable to fix them and just release new games with the same old problmes. And every time critics and fans go apeshit and never actually mention that the game doesn't really work as it's supposed to. It's stupid. I wish they were more reliable because the Fallout games are pretty good. In theory. I tried replaying F:NV not so long ago and it hardfroze on the character creation screen. E:VVVVVVVVVV The fact that it's a gamble if you got a copy that allows you to get through the game or not does not speak in it's favor. I was always amazed that the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games worked at all on PS3, and there were some issues with them at first that made them hard to enjoy. But I have recently (three or so years ago) played through FO3 GoTY, which is notorious for being the worst and buggiest, and have made it through the main story and Mothership Zeta without an issue. Same with NV, though I haven't finished it yet.

I wandered into a Family Video while waiting for food and found FFX/X-2 HD for $9.99. The guy said that it was cheap because nobody ever rented it and they needed space. It was the first time I'd been in a video store in over a decade, so maybe this is common practice. It's in perfect shape and the cheapest that I've seen it by far.

I played it on PC and still had some pretty bad crashing issues, especially in DLC areas to the point where I just gave up on the game entirely. Though that's as much Obsidian's fault as it is Bethesda.

Skyrim on PS3 is playable as long as you remember to "Save... SAVE OFTEN". Thinking about making a dungeon run? Save that loving game beforehand. Completed a dungeon run? Save that loving game afterhand somewhere before you are let back into the global world. Keep your total save slots at a minimum (no more than 4). Have a main master save point and send the rest to the cloud for backup and then delete all saves except the main one from the PS3 (save that one to the cloud too). Don't discard items into the open world willy nilly... Put them in a safehouse trunk or sell them or plant them on a corpse and be done with 'em. Once you get the enchantment/smithing skills leveled you are pretty much unstoppable no matter what you wield as a weapon. My weapon of choice are warhammers but that's me. You do whatever floats your boat. Run the main storyline through before you engage in any DLC content. Keep your save files in the cloud and only add/replace key save states into the cloud. Keep it simple stupid. That said, Skyrim is indeed playable and fun on PS3.
