So Kojima has announced that Peace Walker HD will have online co-op and it will do 60fps even with four players. Not bad.

I honestly don't know what to make of it really. The singleplayer looks downright fantastic (as does the co-op) and as well as looking incredibly fun, it looks really impressive when it comes to the graphics too. My reservations are solely with the multiplayer though, which I enjoyed gameplay-wise but despised when it came to the choppy framerate and poor visuals. Seeing multiplayer footage of the retail build seems to suggest everything runs smoothly now but I'm still unsure personally.

Eh, I won't financially support any game that uses some variant of "Project Ten Dolla."

I know I keep saying this, but drat, Deus Ex is better than any game has a right to be. This is definitely going on my top ten list of best games of all time. It'll probably even supplant the original Deus Ex on that list. drat. Can't wait for the DLC.

Download the MGS Database from the PSN Store. It's free and has a ton of info on anything you might wonder about. It's even cross-referenced. The best part is that you don't have to worry about spoiling MGS4 by reading it because any MGS4 specific information is locked out unless you have a cleared MGS4 save.

Atlus has stated in the past that they'll keep renewing the end date for the servers as long as there's still a sizable amount of people playing. Whether that number will drop significantly when Dark Souls hits is anyone's guess.

Edit: And it is Atlus running the NA servers(and I think the EU ones as well). Whoever kept insisting that From Software runs the servers is tragically misinformed.

I've seen a couple of reviews of the Team Ico Collection that mention that Shadow of the Colossus is now "finally" able to be played in 16:9. I'd just like to point out that the PS2 version does, in fact, have a 16:9 option. Someone obviously doesn't use their options screens, apparently.

Just got my copy of the Team Ico Collection AND just got an email notice from Gamefly that they've sent Dark Souls. It's an awesome gaming overload!

When I was renting Demon's Souls I didn't play any other game for a solid month. I'm expecting it to be much the same with Dark Souls.

You don't know that my time is limited, and archaic HD remakes with no effort paid to fixing something as simple as controls just don't vie well for my time.

I turn 34 in a month, so don't use your age as an excuse. I'm not saying that the controls are perfect but given that it's one of the most beloved games of all time, the controls aren't as bad as you're making them out to be. If you don't give the game another shot, you'll really be missing out.

Welp, Sony has just stated that all future first-party games with a multiplayer component will have an implementation of Online Pass, including Uncharted 3. Since I refuse to support this with my money, I guess I'll be purchasing Skyrim instead of Uncharted 3. I'll rent Uncharted 3 for the single player and pass on the multiplayer.

You know, the fact that these PS2 Classics are clearly emulated (they even call up the PS2 BIOS) in much the same manner as the PS1 Classics makes me think that Sony has clearly figured out a way to make all PS3s backward compatible but they'd rather just sell us the games again. I don't mind so much for rare games like the ones released so far but it'll be interesting to see if they throw a system update for full backward compatibility or if they just try to sell us the entire PS2 catalog a few games at a time.
