It sounds like a dumb thing, but I was even dissapointed with the documents (what few there were) that you got to read in RE5 compared to the older games too. I liked that they helped to create the backstory. Dead Space was good about this with the audio logs. Although it seemed Dead Space 2 either had fewer, or less interesting ones. Itchy. Tasty.

I was really hyped to play From Dust, so I tried it over a friend's house. The actual feeling I felt was more boredom and not very impressed. It seemed rather shallow for the potential it had.

I liked WKC. The gameplay system wasn't atrocious and I actually enjoyed comboing attacks together. I just think it had a great amount of expectation and being Level 5 failed to meet such lofty expectations. It doesn't help that the US got the game 2 years after it's release date, making it feel dated in the market.

I really enjoyed GTAIV's storyline. I thought Niko was probably the most fully fleshed out protagonist in the entire franchise. The weakest part of the game I think came with the ancillary characters and middling gameplay. The missions didn't really feel all that fun, nor were they accompanied with a giant set piece that I think fits the cinematic quality of the game (save for the bank mission). I feel that with the success of Red Dead Redemption that Rockstar could try their hand at a more seriously focused story this time with the appropriate social commentary quirks to break up the tension. Saints Row seems to be more suited for the goofy-over-the-top status quo.

So I thought I'd finally take the time to finish Final Fantasy 13. I attempt the boot the game up and keep getting this message: "Registration of the Trophy information could not be completed. Game will now quit." I've synced my trophies to no avail. Am I SOL? Can I never experience the Fantasy again?

I bought DMC4 at release (I don't know why, since I was never crazy about the series in general) and I liked it for the most part. I have to say it was more fun to play as Dante than Nero, especially coming off how good DMC3 was - so I disagreed with that design choice. P.S. Make Chaos Legion 2.
