we discussed this before and no one had poo poo to say, and now that he was proven wrong a buncha nerds are trying to act like they could see through his supposedly racist analysis. Sometimes I forget how much appreciate you guys for reading articles and producing thoughtful and insightful analysis. Cause other people who write about MMA are not terribly good at thinking, I suspect.

Zach Arnold has been covering japanese pro wrestling for as long as I can remember (15 years), but he really seems to believe that the only market for puro/mma is people currently watching puro/mma. Like if the market shrinks he acts like those former fans are now dead, and there is no way new people could possibly start liking a sport because of innate japaneseness.

dan herbertson, a man who lives in japan, was so surprised that japanese people reacted in the same way to the ufc as people anywhere else in the world that it made him cry.
