Android Blues posted:The countdown clocks I'm pretty sure were just counting down to times when Superhoodie intervened somehow, which Simon knew he had to do because he'd already seen it happen. Most of them were pretty vital as well (saving Curtis' life, throwing Nathan clear of the exploding car, giving himself the peanuts). And of course the big, central countdown clock was to his own death. Yeah, but they were double countdown clocks.

If I'm not mistaken, each of those clocks represents a moment Future Simon had to intervene. Eight clocks, eight interventions. Season 1, Episode 6: Rescues Nathan from the minions of the hypnotic lady. Season 2, Episode 1: Throws the paper airplane at Kelly. Season 2, Episode 1: Rescues Curtis from the shapeshifter. Season 2, Episode 2: Pulls Nathan away from the exploding car. Season 2, Episode 3: Rescues Alisha from the mugger. Season 2, Episode 3: Rescues Alisha after she falls down the stairs. Season 2, Episode 3: Delivers the peanuts to the gang. Season 2, Episode 4: Takes the bullet for Alisha. e: I have no idea how to refer to the minions of the hypnotic lady. That was a ridiculously perfect opening 5 minutes. Dunno how they managed to go from the soul-wrenching melancholy of a guilt-ridden old man to "Fookin' Nazis" and it all felt so right, but they did it. Beautiful.

Rudy is just hilarious. So what, do the gang have their original powers or their new powers or no powers? Bit confused.

I'd like to thing their original powers, since they never met the Power Dealer... But, that might be too confusing.

Looks like No-powers. They didn't know who Seth was, people can touch Alisha safely. Was that Gary alive again at the start? Looks like they were inside during the storm this time around.

Kind of a lot to wrap up in 10 mins. :/ Ultimately, this episode's been pretty rubbish so far. Nothing's really happened, the characters haven't developed any (because things will have to go back to normal) and the whole Nazi thing just feels like someone's drawn swastikas on everything and called it a day. As far as "what if the Nazi's won the war" alternate time-lines go, it's pretty bland. I get the feeling that unless it's a 2 parter, the old guy is just going to go back in time and stop himself and everything will whip back to normal.
