You find and speak to the bear spirit (near the town, east of the buildings). He tells you he is gay (you click blindly through dialog) and then you go back to the town. The fella at the town tells you to gently caress off and go to thunderbluff. The guy in thunderbluff tells you to gently caress off and go to the border between the Barrens and Mulgore. Right on the border there's a farm, behind it is a moonstone. You use the item you were given and beat a moonkin senseless, return to thunderbluff and now u is bare. This reminds me of the hassle of warlock mount quests.

Tanreall, Siege and I (Vivienne) are gonna take an hour break before MC since the server's been up and down and every which way while we've been trying to farm. I'd be surprised if we even get it stable by this evening, really, but I'm happy to try after 3pm ST.

Let's hope all this downtime digs the hooks into the recent immigrants. I'd love to see this server grow. Low pop servers have some advantages, but ghost towns just don't feel right.

You're not missing any grind fest, this is pretty terrible. Up for 20 minutes at a time. I know I'm suppose to rain praise all over Freaky for this whole thing, but right now they should just turn the server off. Running an incentive such as 2xp during a time where the server is up for 20 minutes before restarting is a bad idea.

Well the idea is that the 2x XP is supposed to make up for the downtime, not as a weekend incentive.

Right, it's supposed to be a reward for them pulling the server down Thursday and Friday. Now they're in a situation where no one wants to miss out on 2x XP, while the server is in a constant crash loop.

I used to use Cool Level Up either in Vanilla or BC (can't remember but I think it is really old). It would play final fantasy victory music and display the things that were now available (assuming that you hit a level where you got anything more than a tallent point).

Long-time WoW-playing goonette here wanting to start some old-school vanilla action. Installed and managed to get to like level 3 or something on my troll mage, Vendi, before server spazzing. I'd like to get into the <guild> if you guys still have room or whatever. Free old-school WoW best WoW.

Well Zataron posted that the issue isn't going to be resolved until Freaky can get to work on it, and I'm not sure when that is. He's home but probably crashed since he was up for like 30 hours flying from Japan and whatever. Double XP will be extended once the server is stable.

It would be really great if there were a way to just log into an empty world for the sole purpose of configuring addons. That would make configuring addons and whatnot a lot easier...

Alright so I made a new rank called BFFs. People in that rank can now invite. Officers the Kitten Cage rank has been moved to below the Goon rank, so you now must demote instead of promote to silence members. I promoted like half of the 60's into the rank, so there should be someone able to invite more often. Ricky if you're reading this, reflect this into the OP for how to join the guild. So much support for a status checker. You can find the exe and source here. It requires the .Net Framework 4 which everyone should have already. If not grab it here. It'll put a little dot in your tool tray. Hover over it to see a quick status or click for details. It polls for changes on the login and realm server every minute and will pop up a little balloon if if the status changes. Enjoy and let me know if you run into any bug.
