His remote bits are always the greatest parts of his shows. It doesn't even really matter where they are.

From this week alone, the Irish history museum in the converted elementary school with the 6 different bars bit and the one where he went to the elementary school and taught the kids how to write blues songs about stuff that they don't like had me laughing my rear end off.

And who can forget the classic bits like him going out into the woods to get boozed up and shoot guns with Hunter S Thompson?

That poo poo is golden. He just can't get that caliber of material in a studio setting, I feel. Though I still love a lot of the stuff he does in studio. Like the entire last week he was hosting the Tonight Show, when he was just blowing NBC's money and doing completely ridiculous stuff...I'm pretty sure I laughed so hard I cried at multiple points during that week.

I was hesitant about the blues segment at first because I usually find stuff with little kids to be lame, but I completely lost it with the boy who was constantly getting balls thrown at him.

I think he was just another random intern/pa/crew guy that doesn't show up on the show as often, I'm sure there are a few of them that we don't recognize but turn up a few times and he's probably one of them.

I know everyone already said The Roots were the perfect choice when Fallon started, but man, they really add a lot to the show.

Before Conan moved to the Tonight Show, I was always annoyed at how Late Night and Ferguson were in the same timeslot while I didn't really care about Leno or Letterman. Once Leno left I never would have guessed I'd have that same problem a few years later, especially since I hated Fallon the first few times I watched him.
