You can go back and forth at will after you beat the main quest but the ending slideshow is affected by how many quests you did and what locations you've discovered, so if you want the "full" ending do all your exploring first.

Beyond the Beef is hilarious because it is such a good and complex quest, but the engine is such a piece of poo poo sometimes. That said, I think you can even replace the meat with non-human stuff too.

Are there any mods that enable fast travel to the sink from the Mojave? I'd love to setup the sink as my home base and ditch that dumb hotel room in Novac.

You get a portable teleportation device to travel to the Sink upon completing the DLC's main quest. You can't take companions with you though and upon traveling back you will be dropped off at the drive-in where you started the DLC. I think the cause of Ted bugging out might be that the game flags him as an Essential Follower, but then maybe stops the Follower script when he goes out to show the dinner crowd that he's alive. Afterwards he probably goes into some kind of neutral state and the Follower script just doesn't initialize, or some other problem blocks the "run towards Heck" script. I don't know what causes Ted Blindness for Heck, maybe any scripts that flag Ted as "Ted" are stopped or removed or something. Heck doesn't see the "Ted" object and Ted just becomes a blank NPC.

Just finished The Pitt in my TTW game, idk why but I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt for those iron ingots in the steelyard. I even got all 100 this time. And now I didn't kidnap an infant.

My Beyond The Beef runs always end with me having to push ted from the lobby into the casino like I'm a and he's a stubborn boulder. But at least I can finish that one. The one that always glitches incomplete for me is the Contreras mission in Westside. I never end up getting This Machine, no matter what I do.

Be warned though that the amount of exploring you do directly affects the owb ending slides.

The wiki says you can use the info you can get from silus treatment to make Hanlon stand down, I got a dialogue about Caesar's headaches but I can't tell Hanlon anything? Don't want to go all the way to the cove and kill Ceasar yet.

Eyy regarding heavily modded games, what are the biggest performance killers, and is there anything that can be added to a load order to improve performance? (I'm guessing no) My game is TTW, EVE, and WMX, with Nevada Skies and Vurt's for graphical enhancement. Honestly the load times are appalling when loading a save. Several minutes at times, and this is on a SSD.

I wasn't using TTWOptions, but I did update anyway and enabled it, but there's not any noticeable change. I also went through the performance improvements thread and made the changes suggested there and while the game runs somewhat better in places it doesn't load any faster. Well whatever it's all fine I guess, just have to make sure to not die.

I'm using Nevada Skies and PN+FOOK convergence, so maybe it's complicated, but is there a mod to introduce dawn and dusk and gradual darkening/lightening? It feels super weird to just flip a switch at 7am and 7pm

I seem to have stopped time. This started after I installed (and then uninstalled) Project Nevada. Initially i had an issue where the time was set to -214 whatever: -214 whatever (basically negative max integer) or something like that I sort of fixed that by setting the timescale in console but while time can still pass I never gain any food / h20 / sleep in hardcore mode and I think that the merchants are never repleneshing their inventory. I've literally just stood and waited over and over for 2 weeks worth and their inventory doesn't seem to change.

I am so torn. I want to replay FO3 and FNV in anticipation of FO4 but TTW keeps glitching or crashing or generally behaving like an alpha. Do I bite the bullet and just install FO3? Or do I just bear it and power through the glitches? Maybe even use the exact same character name/visual description and grant myself a ton of bonus EXP when I start FNV to 'keep my character' or whatever...

I finally got around to installing TTW after putting it off for so long. I'm going to make a beeline for the Mojave, get in good with the NCR (bullets + kickass riot gear), get the Avenger, and fill the Capital Wasteland with 5mm casings.

I had a bug where I was getting irradiated for her, and was magically healed before getting inside Craterside Supply but she still acted like I was irradiated. Moira's been dabbling in the dark arts is what I'm saying.

Wildtortilla posted:I'm level 32 and just realized I have had 165 hp since I started my game. Is this bugged? What kinds of mods are you using? I know some settings in like Project Nevada (the hard hardcore or whatever) default mods set the levelup hp to zero so it's only based on your endurance. Speaking of, a while ago I was really hoping I could find a mod that modified HP for everything (player, NPCS and creatures) so it was more D&D style; the amount of HP you got each level was dependant on your Endurance as opposed to just getting a flat amount each level. Is that even a technical possibility with the way the engine and way the game was made? e: that doesn't really math out right though. HP is 95 + (endurance X 20) + (level X 5) so somewhere along the way something changed or bugged out.

I forgot how lovely The Pitt was. The whole map could fit in your closet. I like that after you side with Ashur, there's an option to say "Now what do I do?" and he replies with "Eh, you can wander around the map I guess? The DLC is over, go home and never speak of this again". When I go out west for the first time in TTW, do I bring all my gear with me? I'm thinking New Vegas is going to be ridiculously easy with all my end-game FO3 gear.

I took the Winterized T-51b, Sexy Sleepwear, Jingwei's Shocksword, Backwater Rifle, Eugene, Wild Bill's Sidearm, and the Alien Disintegrator. You'll tear through pretty much everything. Also with TTW you can get the Almost Perfect perk. Once there, pick up the Gobi, Holorifle, LMG, and Ballistic Fist and you're basically invincible. Finally got around to reaching the Mojave. That little quest where you have to get the train station up and running? Total pain in the rear end. Thanks TTW guys for merging the two games, but Jesus that was an ordeal. How about I just push a button and arrive in the Mojave instead? That completely turned me off from ever wanting to make another character.
