Had to guy GRA for the Nuka Grenades. Bitey Jim currently has 70+ Satchel Charges and a few dozen Plasma Mines in his bag but a Nuka Grenade makes the best detonator.

- Cemetary snowglobe + stealth boy from school
- Sneak past deathclaw highway to McCarran
- Buy NCR clothes, get This Machine, take tram to Vegas.
- Get 4000 for 2 snowglobes
- Get INT implant
- Go to the Divide, grab Riot Gear and ED-E (can you even take him back with you to Mojave?)
* Gamble some money to repair your riot gear or somehow figure out how to get 100 lockpick at this ridiculously low level?
- Begin OWB at level 1-2 and get The Sink all pimped out (or just do the main quest, go back to mojave to begin the game and pimp out the Sink later?)

The Katana is hilariously overpowered with its weapon speed mod and Slayer. You end up getting 5 attacks per a second and can just eviscerate everything.

Oh, but to answer your question he probably means the ones from the Gun Runners DLC that you can (I assume) buy at Gun Runners once it's installed. The gold bars are from the Sierra Madre Casino (Dead Money), and they're worth an insane amount of money apiece.

I know this isn't the modding thread, but I'd really like to recommend New Vegas Bounties. It's a pretty fun mod that basically has you go around and kill a bunch of people that may or may not be thinly veiled pop culture references. The ending is a bit jarring, but it's a fun quest with a bunch of amazing rewards throughout.

The revolver is loving insane. Combined with the signature weapons mod this is definitely going to break the game in a rather fun way.

Do you just not use VATS normally so it's just a case of "I never use it so didn't know that", or you actually use it and just click once, then watch the animation, then do it again? I really am unsure how you even achieved this.


While we are stating things we didn't know, for the longest time I didn't know you could cycle through item types in the shop/container view. I thought how absolutely frustrating it was that you had a single window with all your items and had to hunt down looking for all your armor or all your guns. Turns out you can press the left and right arrow keys to filter through item categories like in your pipboy.

Don't forget to murderize their vault guys! I never knew about that vault until like three weeks ago. It amazes me that I'm still finding all kinds of stuff in the vanilla game after such a long time of playing it. I still haven't completed The Thorn stuff, just found that vault with the rest of the Powder Gangers, finally found Deathclaw Promontory, still haven't done that quest to free slaves from Cottonwood Cove, nor have I talked to the legion guy Dead Sea more than once. poo poo, I've never even gone inside the lodge at Camp Golf. drat. Also I haven't even done many of the NCR quests aside from the ones on the strip. I am a shameful person. I think New Vegas is the biggest game I've played.

Also, I just played the melee guy that I didn't think I'd stick with and got some Riot Gear at level 3. I bought it and have like 3k caps left over. Awesome! Lonesome Road breaks the economy but it sure is fun to do. That trip definitely reminded me of the run from Arroyo to Navarro in Fallout 2.
