The only problem with that is their site is hosed up and ranks are assigned randomly. You can be ranked 5000+ and get one of those little screenshot things right and jump up to the top 20. My order in SoCal shipped 8 minutes ago!  I called one of my gamestops (There's like 3 next to me) to ask about the Futurepress guide, but the people there didn't even know Dark Souls was coming out and had to go look it up. edit: oh god it's in Whitetown (Indiana?)

UPS Truck has been driving around with my copy for the last 8 hours. I bet the UPS truck driver just went home and is playing my copy of Dark Souls right now. Also the achievement for solving the glyphs on the website disappeared fake edit: super sonic hearing and novice premonition skills revealed the UPS guy was trying to get to my doorstep as I was typing this post! drat my shoddy wi-fi connection. My PC does fine, but my PS3 has a little trouble maintaining connection sometimes. Occasionally boots me out of my game Is there like a wi-fi booster for the PS3? I'd go wire but I don't have that capability at the moment.

Holy poo poo these monsters will chase you all the way. I don't think they ever give up, but maybe they run out of stamina because sometimes they start walking as if they were just taking a break. As soon as I see something running at me that's way taller/bigger than me (I suddenly realize I'm off the beaten path) I book it, but there's no escape

Fuuuck, I got to the Valley of Drakes, went up some mountain path and then saw this seemingly dead dragon. I poked it because... well I don't know why, and then it suddenly woke the gently caress up, knocked me down, and then started vomiting poison all over me. Goooooddamn. I love this game.

gently caress that Gaping Dragon. Even with phantoms he lands on me because his jump/flying thing is slightly unpredictable (is he going to land on your or in front of you? Also he has a poo poo ton of HP, so the drake sword kind of just nicks him. tips? Also thank god for the shortcut to the bonfire, I discovered that on my like, 6th try when I noticed the shortcut.
