waspinator posted:That was just the CE apparently, just got the regular edition with on release date shipping. I don't need that extra stuff anyway. Hooray! Preorders are automatically upgraded to the collector's edition, free of charge. It's why the CE is the same price as the regular.

No no no, a large enemy uses a crystal gecko-shaped lure. Like a giant, horrible angler fish. Or a swarm of geckos surges around the corner and engulfs you.

You get the shipping e-mail when it gets shipped. Release day is (somehow cheaper) one-day shipping.

Ankle-biter posted:For content...It took me about 220 cheap arrows with the long-bow to kill the undead dragon. For some reason shooting him in the wings does a little more damage. After getting the dragon scale he drops I spent about 2 hours getting the 10k souls it takes to upgrade the drake sword. I need more scales...does the red dragon drop one? If so, what's the best way to kill him? (Covenant Spoiler) Save your dragon scales if you want to be a Dragon-man and be buddies with Seath.

Resine is pretty ridiculous. I went from 14 damage to a Dark Knight to 58.Spite posted:Also Divine weapons will permanently kill skeletons. And the morning star breaks them into bits so they have to reform after a hit. Very useful. Astora's Sword counts as divine, doesn't it?

Blarfo posted:Astora's sword appears to be broken right now and the divine aspect of it is completely not applied. Tons of reports (including my own experience) of it being woefully underpowered and basically a neat name for a standard longsword. Huh, it didn't seem broken to me, I'm one-shotting guys that took 2 longsword hits (both unupgraded). I'll just leave the skeletons alone for now, though.

^^^ You can jump over to it and inch along the thin parts.Blarfo posted:If you're faith based it still seems to gain base damage bonus from increased faith so that may be why you feel like you're doing more damage. I don't know though. I tested the weapon over and over on the same enemies using various other weapons with similar stats and Astora's always came out on the bottom, faring only better than standard ones just enough which is mostly explained by my high faith and the fact that I upgraded it twice. I've only got the 14 faith required to use it properly. v My highest stat is 18 dexterity. I got thrown off the castle by the Taurus demon and have been taking my rage out on mooks and hidden items.

Forgot to add that it's a specific use in a specific spot, in a specific area (location) the room before Smough and Ornstein. You pretty much have to go to that spot at some point, though. You'll get a prompt about the orb. Still no idea why your red eye stones can't be used.
