Would anyone on PSN mind helping me with the third (goat head) boss? I'm having a lot of trouble with him. And by help I mean throw down a white stone. edit: never mind! killed him. Partial Octopus fucked around with this message at Oct 5, 2011 around 02:15 |

I accidentally attacked a friendly NPC! Is there anyway I can get him to calm down and stop attacking me?

Bruc posted:Sorry if I missed it but this thread moves very fast, I didn't play the first game, and am picking this up today, I was thinking of playing a lightly armored rogue type but is that going to be a bad choice for a beginner player? this game seems hard enough as it is so I am hoping to go for one of the easier class types for my first playthrough. Classes only determine your starting stats and gear. They don't mean anything after the first hour or two of the game. Pick whatever looks cool sounds fun to you and you'll be fine.

I'm having a lot of trouble picking a covenant. Gravelord Servant sounds awesome. So does Path of the Dragon but Path of the Dragon also seems incredibly difficult to obtain.

Sen's Fortress is the most frustrating area ever. I finally make it all the way to the top to find a door that only opens on the opposite side. Then I decide I'll go back downstairs to find another path. I follow the giant boulder and fall right into oblivion with about 8k souls and no way of getting them back. I'm at my wits end and have no idea where to go.

I just paid 90k souls to absolve my sins so that I could rescue the pyromancer trainer that I had accidentally hit. And now he doesn't even appear in the sewers

ArchRanger posted:Do ever need to buy more than a single orange soapstone? I never bothered buying one, figuring I could spend the souls better leveling up and on my equipment, but reading a few posts, it sounds like it's just one reusable item rather than an expendable. I'm a ways off from the undead merchant and trying to decide if I should go backtrack to get it. It's not a consumable. You only need one.

I just got the gravelord sword. It's really disappointing. It's incredibly slow. My +3 drake sword is much better but I'm getting tired of it. Anyone have any upgrade recommendations?

I cannot use the blue eye orb. I have no idea why. I've tried it dead and alive and I can never get it to work.

Filthy Monkey posted:I vote for 16. That lets you use the eagle shield, which is a pretty good light greatshield. I have 34 str to use the Artorias Greatshield and it was definitely worth it. That thing blocks everything for pretty much no stamina.

Filthy Monkey posted:What does its stability max out as, out of curiosity? The eagle shield is 84 at +15. I am sure the Artorias shield is higher, but how much higher? 88. I think some other stats on it are higher too.
