This is one for someone who has the game, but you dont always start at the back of the grid do you? I dont mind fighting my way to the front but sometimes its a pain when you only have 2 laps or so.

I pre-ordered the lce from them also, if not im going to have to ignore this thread on tuesday.

I've got exactly the same e-mail, i'm assuming it means that they havent canceled the order? idk On another note i've just got 3 more endurance races and I will have finished fm3, then I can proceed to cry that everyones faster than me in the demo.

A5H posted:Basically, on that, there's a degree of camber on the front. Degree of toe out on the front. Slightly reduced caster. Stiffened up everything with no bias towards a softer back. As low as possible. Increased diff lock. Higher pressure tyres on front to reduce snap oversteer and that's pretty much it I think. Wait I thought increasing caster was better for turnin, it definitely helped irl when I got adjustable caster arms but my cars not a skid car.

Cojawfee posted:You don't have to tune anything. Just get sports parts that don't require tuning. Drive the car stock around whatever track you want to test on. Does the car feel too slow? Add more power. Is the car sliding all over the place? Suspension and tires (don't forget about roll bars). Multiple parts can affect one aspect of the car (suspension, tires, roll bars, camber and others all affect how well you can corner). So learn how to tune one part, and use that. Start learning how to tune other parts. The setup spreadsheet is a good place to start with springs and dampers, also it has a gear spreader thing that seems to work well for me. To be fair you are right about most of the lower class prize cars being allright, its just me being fussy.

However you dont want to have too narrow a tyre in front compared to the rear or it will get understeery. Unless your dragracing where you can just have skinny fronts and widewide rears.
