It looks like a Kimber Gold Combat RL II but has some weird slide cuts or holes in the slide or what the gently caress ever.

I was reading this post on my phone so I thumb gestured to zoom in and get a closer look at the gun but got a faceful of Colby's bulge instead.

I just watched the Top Guns spinoff show and they just did a "head to head" competition between a BAR, AUG and a PS90. I have no clue why they're trying to draw direct comparisons between a squad machine gun, an assault rifle and a PDW. I would have liked it if it was between the BAR, M60, M240 or something like that.

I'm sure Dylan is going to cause some kind of drama involving Michelle. I mean, look at her.

I was assuming that the show was heading towards an awful romance subplot, but now that you mention it it some dumb relationship drama is a lot more plausible if the other guys in the house start trying to assume alpha-male status. (I want Jake back)

They act like if you get eliminated from the show you just vaporize into the ether and you're never seen again. Like, there's no way you could just fly over to visit each other after the season's over.

I am irrationally excited, because I know one of the contestants on Top Shot.

One of the contestants from season 1 (I won't name him) was the scoutmaster of my old Boy Scout troop and last I heard of him was running his own pistol training business- and then ND'd into his thigh.

Guy Fieri's "half-cocked and de-balled" line referring to Greg was pretty clever.

Anyone else notice that some of the interviews with the shooters have that gritty 12-bit sound to them? I noticed it in the last two episodes. Sounds like they were sampled through one of these:

Complete with bizarre conspiracy theories.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I started watching it and it's surprisingly well produced. I did close the tab immediately when their firearms "expert" said birdshot was sufficient for shooting people.

I came across Combat Pawn recently. The first minute of the show is below.

The actual content of the show looks okay but Christ having your employees show up and "clear" the parking lot every morning is one of the more bizarre things I've ever seen out of a gun shop.

I wonder if that is what they actually do, or scripted TruTV bullshit. I'm hoping they really do open the store that way, because I plan on driving down to Spring Lake one morning to watch this... set up a lawn chair on the sidewalk and just as they sweep the parking lot for urban tangos.

We can tell that particular sequence was scripted (I don't think they actually run around with cameras mounted on their rifles) but I don't think it'd be far off to say that maybe they do it for real with something more low key like their CCW guns.

If I was pumping gas at the station across the street and looked over and saw that I'd probably call the police, and I'm a TFR poster.
