While the MGS4 LP was quite good, the thread was rather poo poo most of the way though (which may or may not be partially my fault), but it got really good near the end when Feriowind made a whole bunch of gifs for people to use as avatars.

That's kind of true, he was indeed a translator for the game, but he has said before that the line was pretty much a direct translation from the original text.
