My memory of BF2 is fading, what new/revived vees could they possibly bring back from those maps that we don't have already? All that's coming to mind is the BTR for MEC, and I remember FERRET talking about Bobcats on Wake Island.

Speaking of the Back to Karkand pack; I had missed out on preordering this and I am looking to buy it today. Are there any distributors still selling limited edition versions of the game? Or do I have to wait and pay 15 bucks when it does finally come out? Should I try one of the key sites like intkeys or something else (Im in the US)? Thanks for any info.

The Karkand vehicles are the F-35B, the Desert Patrol Vehicle (aka the BF2 jeep), and the BTR-90.

ChewyLSB posted:No, because BF3 (like BC2) assumes that if you map something that uses is a Control Stick or the mouse input, and if its one of the inputs that has an opposite (so Looking up/down, pitch/roll/yaw/freelook), the game tries to be clever and maps that entire axis as both control settings.

I know people complain about ubiquity of IRNV scopes, but having played on a lot of pubbie servers I rarely see it. And when I do see it it's usually some dipshit with a M249 and a flash suppressor and a bipod accompanying it. Every goon might put the same poo poo on their gun, but the vast majority of the BF3 universe is still doing things the old way. Not that it won't be a sea of green and range in a couple of weeks.

I myself don't use it as it causes occasional performance drops for me. Doesn't change how good it is.
