I think we can just sit around and just talk about our feelings.

 Had a ton of fun playing with friends last night. Really wish the squad management, map configuration/viewing, and other various UI elements get improved soon, but it's tolerable for now.
Wish I would have stayed home from work. This feels like watching paint dry.

You only needed it to activate the product yesterday. You can disable it right after activating.

You only need to enable it for the date check when you first start BF3 on Origin.

It's part of the Physical Warfare pack, which you should have received a code to unlock it through Origin in an email sent by Origin regarding your order.

Enter the code in the Redeem Code menu option and join a game, the DAO, SKS, and Type 88 are there.

 For those of you wondering about the absolute limit of mininum spec I'm running a Nvidia 9800GT and an intel duo core at 2.16ghz and it's just slightly above barely playable at everything as low as it will go, the lowest definition rate, and in windowed mode because if I go full screen it seems to stutter. Thinking about getting a new machine myself. Just a heads up for those of you running 2-3 year old comps.

If that's the case, then it sounds like really made an effort to open up all aspects of the game to people. I've stayed a ground trooper for all games after BF2. I wouldn't mind trying something new.

Could my work day go any slower?

Just a warning, with the Battlefield 3 Beta, I used my drivers that I've had for months and it worked pretty fine, then I switched to the latest GeForce beta driver, and my FPS performance dropped about 50%

I have a GTX 260 for reference

 I just had a jet slam into my car as I was driving along. The impact sent me flipping and nearly blew me up but I somehow survived it, much to the extreme dismay of the guy who did it.

It scared the poo poo out of me. Game owns hard when it's not crashing. ()

You only need to connect to the VPN for the 8 seconds required to unlock the game, then go back to your normal connection.

Uhhh you're not supposed to spend more than a minute on it. If you logged into anything while you were on it, you're going to want to change all your passwords since whoever runs that VPN can access all of your traffic.
