Yeah, I just started having a problem where I crash a couple of minutes into every game, if it doesn't crash on the loading screen. I get a lock-up of the game, and when I CAD out, I see a "Battlefield 3 has stopped working" message. I've been playing fine since I 10 am yesterday. Running an i7-920 and a GTX 470 with the newest drivers.

How the HELL do you use party join? My friends and I make a party, which we have to refresh to see, and when one of us makes a party join, the person who makes it sees the notification that it was created, but nothing happens. No one else sees anything either. Refreshing shows "party join started" or some such nonsense in the party chat, but nothing happens, and there is nothing to click. It was exactly the same in the Beta.

Additionally, I rebound Spot/comm to a different button, but can only comm with it. Spotting is still on Q. Is there a known buglist somewhere?

Running a Battlefield game at 50-60fps compared to "aw, this is rather playable on my lovely machine, it'll do for a while" is a day and night difference I can't remember the last time I upgraded my computer in order to play a single game, if ever, but upgrading from Dual Core to Quad is a huge deal and totally worth it. Edit: What happened to the rumor that the euro release dates were moved up a day? From watching videos of people using the mortar, it seems pretty inaccurate. A single mortar didn't look that threatening, maybe killing someone every minute or two. Still, it looks like fun, and I'm sure its very effective with 3+ mortars concentrating fire. I can't wait to try it out after I grind engineer up to javelin at least.

God hates me, woke up with pink eye and had to keep that contact out. Well gently caress him, I finished the campaign anyway and it was intense as poo poo. They took some cues from CoD and added the BF scale to it. It's got some unbelievable atmosphere.

I'm on the Mortar now, and it's only worth taking when you have no chance to JihadJeep. Which is on a lot of maps. I took out four or five enemies with a single shell. They were on the Hill of Caspian, I was closer to the Russian spawn.

My favorite thing to do at the moment with the Support on large maps like Caspian is to roll C4 and take the AA vehicle and engage MBTs. I try to sneak around them and just open up on them while rushing them and when I get close enough, I use C4 and blow them up. I took out 4 tanks in a row this way last night  Does anyone else feel like the sensitivity for vehicle turrets is actually too high now?

Well, I've stumbled on an entirely new bug. I got on a Damavand Peak rush map and every now and then my camera would switch to an enemy. I'd be sitting there, alive, able to move and everything, but unable to really do anything effectively because for four or five seconds my view would be that of a killcam following an enemy soldier. It was rather annoying but it would fix if he, or I died. What was even worse was when the view would switch to spectating myself. I was stuck watching my own face as I tried to figure out what to do. And killing myself didn't actually fix it, I had to outright leave the server.

Anyone else having issues joining multiplayer matches? Game Manager keeps telling me I need to update, but all it does is try to launch Origin which tells me BF3 is up to date. I want to shoot people

Great new OP! Quite a few ppl seem to be getting this intermittent dxgi.dll error: http://imagewagon.us/photo/my-image...xgidllerror.jpg It seems to be totally random. Happens at "initializing" game stage. If you close the error window and keep trying eventually it'll go through. Happens to me on Catalyst 10.10 preview and 10.9 drivers. Also happens to nVidia users. Updating DirectX etc doesn't help at all.
