I woke up and there was nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a Conquest Map. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the AA. I'm here an hour now... waiting for a mission... getting softer. Every minute I stay in this room and watch netflix, I get weaker, and every minute the Comrade Charlie squats in the bush, he gets stronger. Check your Origin settings to make sure that your download is saving to the correct folder and that the backup cache is also no trying to save to your SSD.

Im glad the F2000 is getting nerfed but holy goddamn gently caress frags are totally useless now by the looks of it. It looks like it'll take a minimum of 4 to kill anyone, and by then they will have shot you in the face with their overpowered machine guns, since suppression doesn't really stop anything (if it made it take longer to aim or something it might be good but as it is now it's just more screen jam I think).

Patch pretty much sums up typical DICE balancing really, "huh this is marginally too strong WELP BETTER MAKE IT 75% WORSE"

note: the f2000 is a bullet hose and often you will be killed faster by an F2000 than the F2000 will be killed by your autoshotgun. It'd be kind stupid if one of the fastest firing guns in the game was also one of the most accurate really.

If you set it to 0 (default is 100%) the animations can't keep up with the user input and everything looks like CounterStrike style primitive animations. Tank coax LMG turrets whip around at mach 2. It's a pretty jagged gaming experience with it turned all the way off; I set it to about 38-45% and seemed to fix most of the problems. I was pinging at about 20ms to WookWook.

I have no problem with frags doing less damage - I think they should be used to either pressure people who are in a corner or finish off a very weak opponent who is hiding. Why should people be easily killed with frags? Shoot them with your gun

Edit: I didn't see that the base damage of the bullets themselves was also reduced. If it really is 4 shots to kill someone that would be nuts - shotguns should be worthless outside of close - close medium distance and up close should dominate.

Am I reading that right? The USAS-12 has a faster fire rate than before?

Of course the FRAG rounds have been nerfed, but still, the USAS12 is still rather formidable as a regular shotgun still right?

I set it to the extreme minimum but didn't notice any difference. Although I was in a server with only 10 players. I need a full 64 I guess to test it properly.

Yeah they reduced the close range damage of frag round from 60 to 20 so it's five shots to kill instead of two from pre-patch. They did add a special frag round for the 870MCS though, I wonder if that one does pre-patch damage?

drat, this game looks good. Also, I really like the no HUD at all tweak. That's what hardcore should be, not the semi-hardcore DICE put in.

See I wouldn't have an issue with frags being more splash and less damage if you could selectively load shotgun ammo. Y'know since then you could switch between your frags for driving dudes out of cover and then switch to slugs or fletchetes to shoot them to death. As it is now though frags are gonna be totally useless because while they can drive dudes out of cover they don't do anywhere near enough damage to actually kill them before they shoot you with an assault rifle or machine gun and kill you instantly.

Neither of those things were true, the AEK had a faster ROF and the horizontal drift made it much more hoselike, as it did better on full auto at medium long range.

Every AR will do more DPS than an auto shotgun at anything less than point blank <8 yards. They're assault rifles. Comparing those 2 is utterly nonsensical.

This avatar and I go back 5 1/2 years. That relationship is approxiamtely 1000x more successful than 99% of the relationships on these forums.

TUGZ changes have made grinding recon painless. A PDW and a TUGZ on 64p Metro is easy street.

And, in a weird twist of events, I am playing nothing but Metro Large 64 until B2K comes out. I figure I will just try and one star everything except recon only guns.

How long a bullet lives before the game stops caring about it. Since all your bullets are independently tracked by the game, it would be a ridiculous amount of work to track every bullet fired off into space.

TTL was increased for sniper rifles from 1.5 seconds to 5, so now a sniper's bullet gets 5 seconds of flight time - allowing for hilariously long ranged shooting.

It's the amount of time between when the bullet leaves your barrel and when the computer stops calculating it's trajectory. 1000 yards might be enough for an SMG bullet - you can't really see what you're hitting at 1000 yards unscoped, so there's no point wasting server resources calculating what it may or may not hit. People are having competitions to see the longest headshot they can make, and are regularly racking up 900 yard headshots on youtube; so it makes sense to up the TTL so that you can make 1200 or 1500 yard shots.

Anyone else get stuck at a black screen after loading with the new patch? I can hear sounds in the background but the flashing blue cursor thing in the lower right is no longer there and it never seems to resolve to the deploy screen.

Yeah, which makes me wonder how much blast damage is negated by flak spec.
