Why the gently caress are the spawn air defenses usable by players? It is frustrating as gently caress to fly a helicopter on Noshahr Canals or Kharg Island because there is always some motherfucker in the Phalanx or Russian equivalent constantly pelting you with shells and you can't fight back in any way.

The only way to avoid Stinger surprise sex is to sit at really high altitude and let your gunner snipe, then dive in with the rockets when somebody spots a vehicle. Eventually you will get caught between flares and get blasted.

Flashlight counters IRNV pretty loving hard in my experience, but I agree that it's way too good currently. It reminds me of fullbright skins for old school Counter-Strike that rendered everybody in neon colors. Crigit posted:That's because it doesn't. In fact, it also makes you use subsonic ammunition, so you get a lot more bullet drop and have to lead more than usual. Yes, it does. The silencer actually reduces weapon recoil but decreases hipfire accuracy, on top of silencing your gun and increasing bullet drop. It's goofy, but putting a silencer on any automatic weapon in the game will make it more controllable and thus more accurate for aimed fire.

I can't hide from them, I can't outmaneuver them, and, 9 times out of 10, I can't get the first lock and thus start at a disadvantage because I have to blow my flares first. So I just fall over when one decides to gently caress with me. How do I fix this? Why can't you get the first lock more often? If you're not constantly scanning the skies for the enemy chopper and mentally timing how long it takes for it to respawn and get airborne again so you can get into a position to fight it, you're at a disadvantage. Your first priority as a chopper pilot should always be engaging the enemy attack/scout helicopters first because they are your biggest threats. Chopper fights at standoff distances (ie out of effective cannon or rocket range) really come down to who spots who first, unless there is some nearby terrain or building like the refinery stacks on Operation Firestorm that you can use to break a lock. keyframe posted:ECM Jammer/Below Radar helps a lot. Mobile AA demolishes anything in the game. If you get behind a tank you will disable and destroy it in a matter of seconds, and you can snipe any kind of armor from extreme range since the cannons have no drop whatsoever, while any tank trying to return fire has to try and gauge the drop on his cannon. It's not mobile AA, it's mobile anti-everything. Easily the most overpowered vehicle in the game. Don't even get me started on the loving invincible AA guns in the spawns either.
