So did they really nerf the F2000? I'm not on the PC but if they did I'm sure it'll be coming to me...

Vertigus posted:It shouldn't be a big deal if it's just for 10 minutes to diagnose something. It's not like in the Windows XP days where there was literally a vulnerability that would get your computer compromised within 5 minutes of plugging into the internet without a firewall. It's funny you'd say that because I was using a VM at work with an unpatched/firewall off XP vhd and it got infected in less than 2 hours. Back to 2000!

Gonkish posted:Correction: first they generated a huge map, then sat down and decided to ignore 85% of it, and plopped several uninteresting points with maybe one vehicle amongst them right on top of one another so that the console retards don't get lost. See: Firestorm. Awww, don't be like that man.

Den of Lies posted:If anything, blame things taking longer on the consoles. They have to have patches too, and it's not like it's same code on all 3 platforms. Plus the whole certification thing. Besides, I'd rather have fewer patches and more time in between than no patches at all, and with DICE' track record of breaking things with each patch, I would rather they take their time with them anyways to get them as stable as possible. What's hilarious is that consoles haven't even gotten the USAS patch yet.
