The Family really does own, I enjoy playing my Viktoria slingshot more but loving with card draws while filling you full of lead and ignoring/winning most willpower duels is immensely satisfying.

drat I thought something was up with that Ten Thunders fluff in the last book, wonder what the new asian faction will be like.

Also hoping the family gets some new models, the pistoller was poo poo and Perdita's avatar was rather "eh".

The Red Cage was the magical prison that held Salamander (the Tyrant currently possessing Sonnia Crid) in check. It's shattering by way of the meteor unleashed a wave of magic that caused the avatars and such.

I don't actually own any of the robots, what does it do?

I also own most of the Outcast line that isn't Gremlins or Undead, so I can change up my Vik list a bit. I was thinking of dropping Killjoy (which is hard because he owns so hard, especially with critical strike from aVik) and one desperate Merc to take Taelor and a Ronin.

You should really download the Rules Manual off of Wyrd's site, they seriously edited the poo poo out of it and it is much easier to read now.

Anyways, to answer your question you can draw LOS to 3 inches into an Obscuring base/piece of terrain if you're outside, if you're inside you can draw LOS to within 3 of another model inside the cloud. You cannot however, draw los through a cloud. You only ignore blocking terrain by being within an inch, that does nothing for obscuring terrain.

Ninja edit: However, this kinda depends on Height. If the obscuring base has a height of less that your target, you can draw LOS but they have cover.

Actually I got a couple words mixed up, if you can draw LOS through an Obscuring base if the distance is less than 3. In such a case you've got LOS but they have cover. Anymore than that is a no go.

Here's the list I run in case you're looking for ideas. The watcher is a fast, incredibly mobile flyer that can seize objectives, deny cover, and remove terrifying from a model. The executioner gives you what the crew lacks (melee hitting power) for when poo poo gets to you and gets stuck in. (If you can pull off a couple obey's to negate his slow speed he's an unholy terror that does not die)

Nino is pretty obvious, same with Papa and Abuela. I usually try to get Papa in their face first turn while everything is still bunched up in deployment.

Yeah you buy 3 and summon the Dead Rider later. With your SS savings you buy some cheap fodder to ensure you manifest asap. Canine remains are a good target for Necrotic Unmaking.

Yeah whoops, got a little confused. A lot of these effects don't require you to kill enemy models but his does. Anyways, you'll be manifesting by turn 3 wither way, but if you can try to make some SPA's on turn two so you'll have some AP left after manifesting. Canine remains are still useful for turning corpses into Hollow Waifs, it's always good to have that second one.

Personally, I'd forgo the hooded rider and just take the other 3 riders + some remains and call it a day. Summoning is expensive and you'll have to wait until turn 4 unless you manage to make two SPA's on turn two.

Edit: I was thinking of putting a Levi list in the future, here's what I was thinking.

Not running four horsemen (and their lil buddy Leviticus) isn't really an option for a four horsemen (and their lil buddy Leviticus) list. I don't mind if something comes a little later in the game. Definitely going to have to get those Waifs in there, though.

Well, you'll have two turns of Levi (well 3 but one will only have 1 ap as you'll need to summon the rider) on his horse with a slim chance for a 3rd then. Also, you better make sure you have the card you need to summon the Dead Rider. You can run a four horsemen list, but you really need to get both manifest requirements by turn 3 in order to really make it work. Still a lot of fun though

Also you don't buy Hollow Waifs, you get one for free and can summon a second with the corpse from your canine remains. (in case you missed that, I might be misunderstanding your meaning )
