actually yeah I take it back, G35s have a shitload of space for a 2+2. but you have to wait for the electric-adjustable chair to move back, which is super annoying.

If you find you don't fit in cars because of your height, and you're a bit of a , lose some weight. Having a big fat rear end means you don't sit as far back or low down in a seat as someone who's less corpulent, which artificially reduces the amount of space you have.I used to be a complete lardarse, and compared to then, when I sit in a car as someone of "normal" build but still 6'2", my knees are further from the dash and so on.

Haha, I have so little rear end that I have lower back problems caused by belting too tight because my pants slide off. My problem is that when my foot is on the gas, my knee is usually right alongside or a little above the side of the steering wheel so I need enough space for a knee between the wheel and the center console. Which is about 12 inches. Never driven anything with a telescopic wheel, that might be tits. For what it's worth I think the 300zx had enough space, I was able to drive one (unlike any version of the Miata, a Fiero, a Mark I MINI, a Z3 etc). I'm also comfortable in a pre-'85.5 944 and a Mark II MINI, although they're not .

6'5" and I can fully extend my leg, locking the knee, in a Fiero. No skinny person should have any issue in one.

This is what a Powershift looks like in an FD RX-7![]() ![]() (no, that door couldn't close.) but i fit comfortably apart from the leg bolsters in the lancer evo x. Also, it seems to me we need a big and tall auto topic here, because it would be interesting to learn from other people's experiences about what i could fit in. Most of what i figure i can fit in is based on clarkson being 6'5 and fat.

I'm no good at title stingers, maybe "Miatas fit me like a glove, I wish I could get the rest of my body in it" or "This RX8 looks good on me but the sleeves aren't long enough". The thing about Clarkson is he has spindly old man legs, which let him get away with loving murder. You and me aren't ever getting behind the wheel of a Lotus unless it has no roof. Or seats. I would be all for a big and tall car thread. I find it difficult to get in most small cars with my stereotypically goon physique and long torso. Strangely my EF Civic fits me just fine, but it doesn't seem to particularly appreciate my weight.

Strangely my EF Civic fits me just fine, but it doesn't seem to particularly appreciate my weight. If you're going to do a big and tall thread you need to have someone measure you floor to hips and hips to top-of-head, might even want to say floor to knee and knee to hips. The problem is some people are leg tall and some people are torso tall so total height really doesn't say much when you're sitting down.

I always wondered for measurements like this: where exactly do my hips stop and become my back? I mean, the muscles underneath go mid-back to knee.

I propose three measurements: weight, standing height and sitting height. Basically, sit yo rear end on the floor, make yourself as tall as possible, get measured.

The vent is unnecessary. The little kink on the front fender edge would look fine without it, just like on the current STi.

More pics: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/suba...pt-sti-la-2011/ I don't mind the vent on the fender. I officially like this better than the Toyota/Scion version. Get rid of that wing and keep it under 30k and I will be very tempted.

The fender vent is functional and not just a stick on vanity piece. Granted, it could be a little less gaudy but even the base model scion version has some form of vent right there.
