Warranty!

Besides, the problem with the Cappos is a complete lack of anti-rust treatment. If you bought one new and had it Waxoyled and undersealed from the start, it'd probably be fine and dandy.

I am 6 foot 1 and FWIW I found a new Mazda 3 to be more uncomfortable to sit in than the Cooper S I ended up getting. No idea how the 3 didn't have just as much, or more, leg room but

The first time I sat in my friends NA Miata I thought it was tight, but I didn't slide the seat back. I got in it to move it in the driveway a couple weeks ago and it didn't feel bad after I moved the seat.

I don't know exactly how tall I am (the doctor was amazed when I went for a checkup), probably a bit under average height, and my NB is just perfect in terms of interior size. You tall freaks can enjoy your "being able to see poo poo at concerts" privilege.

Speaking of Kei cars, they really need to make a new AZ-1 and export it everywhere.

Look how cool that guy looks when just sitting still!

It's probably the costs of modifying them for various regulatory compliance that's prevented them from being exported to Europe in the first place, though any of these cars would be about 100% better for city life then a Smart.

I am 5'11" and my NB fit my like a glove. I certainly could see having issues if I was 2-3 inches taller, though. I once took at 6'5" friend for a ride in it and he couldn't fit his head inside without the top being down. Forums poster ejstheman also rode in my Maita from MD to Delaware and back again, about a 1.5 hour trip one-way. He fell asleep on the way back with his head 90% out of the top of the car.

The Toyobaru is definitely the first car in a while to make me seriously consider buying a brand-new car. My worst worry would be buying a first-year model, only to have a factory turbocharged version come out a year or two later.

I think more than anything, it's the fact it's RWD. I really don't like FWD cars, and AWD even less. I can't afford a BMW or other RWD coupes until they're beat to hell and back - or more specifically, the maintenance on one. But a Mustang a couple years old? Sure.

I like the new Charger myself, but I think the general market would rather have a fun car the size (and possibly better utility) of the FR-S that was FWD than whatever they could get for cheap enough that was RWD.

You're in luck, you can get them in Japan AND being Japan they probably have a conversion kit so you can fuel it that way.

I definitely want more HP. My point of reference is an RSX-S, which was 2800 lbs. with 200HP.

All the sporty RWD cars, i'm too tall for. Miata, Solstice/Sky, S2000, RX8, my head is either above the windscreen or crammed into the roof, or I can put my butt on the edge of the seat to fit my torso and then I can't operate the pedals. I have a stupid big 4x4 truck, winters here suck. I really use an efficient summer only vehicle. I'd like a hatchback non-haldex AWD 4 cylinder with some ground clearance, but other than the Juke, i'm basically SOL. I'm *interested* in the BRZ, but only if it's really cheap. Otherwise, i'd rather get a Mustang.

RWD. Look how low the engine is, right between the front wheels. There's nowhere to put a diff and axle under it.

War, wot iz it gud for? Lootin' an krumpin', dat's wot.

Put the driveshaft through the sump, diff in front of the engine & fit portal axles, except they port backwards to the wheels, not down!

I've ridden in an NA and it seemed fine. not really a glove like fit but not cavernous either. I think it would take something like a honda s600 to give me a glovelike fit. Hell I drive a 94 ford probe, not a big car in any dimension and it feels pretty big to me.

I am so pumped for this. I don't really give a poo poo about new cars but this one is really outstanding in design and philosophy. I hope there's a turbo version, because 250-275hp in this car sounds perfect.

Yeah, I've always found that the show lights and lack of real world road stuff nearby for comparison really throws me off at shows. The LFA looked huge on stage under the lights, and then when I got close I realized it was pretty drat small.

Also at 5'7" it could be half the size and I'd still have headroom
