It's nice to be pleasantly surprised sometimes. Count me in as another person who watched the trailer, got interested in the books and became a fan. The bit where they're picking the tributes and Katniss volunteers herself in Prim's place was just heartbreaking and I went from not giving a crap to watching the rest of the trailer in rapt silence.
