Every other game that has ever done a season pass has never removed it from sale. Even once all the DLC packs are out, it's still worth having it available as an option as it's a discount for bulk purchasing.

The Season Pass is also the only way to get the Nyteblade Pack right now, so chances are very low that it will get removed from the store.

There is no set time for releasing patches, but given that it's also when the DLC will go on sale, I imagine it'll hit during Steam's daily update at 10AM PST (in 4 hours or so).

Remember how in the main story missions, there were missions that introduced you to new activities. So technically they were story missions, but in reality, they were just activities? It's like that. You do "missions" which basically have an extremely loose setup for why you're doing them (like the other activities of the game), which then unlock other activities of that type.

Short answer: It's just activities (and associated unlockable vehicles, homies, etc)

I'm expecting a pretty shallow couple of activities, like the achievements list shows. I'll probably buy it just because of Tim & Eric's amazing ad for the game but I'm well aware it might be a waste of money.

All of the DLC activities are just expanded versions of activities already in the game, really. SERC missions (with shark pools!), the Yarngasm missions are just tank mayhem except you're a giant ball of yarn that can shoot shockwaves and bounce up into the air, PR is Escort except your car has flamethrowers on the front and side, and Sad Panda is basically skydiving except you can basically fly and land on rooftops to chainsaw folks for bonus points.

Not that I'm saying these activities aren't FUN AS BALLS, because they are, but if you're expecting revolutionary new gameplay modes that totally divert from anything you've ever seen before, you'll be disappointed. But only up until the point where you crush a line of cars underneath your giant yarn ball.

Agreed. They're new and totally improved versions of activities already in the game. I just know there's gonna be folks out there disappointed because it's not a total expansion with brand new storyline missions and an epic plot. The plot is it's Genkibowl and you unlock poo poo like a flamethrowing Cadillac, sexy Genki girl homies, an ATV with a mouse's head, and a giant ball of yarn complete with its own delivery homie.

Eh, just reading on the official forums and Genki Bowl is not looking good. All the activities are reskins from what's already in the game. The only new thing is panda skydiving, which incidentally is the only actual full costume included. Much as I'm dying here to throw more money at them I can't do it... they're clearly at 'horse armor' stage of their DLC plans and need to do better.

Ehh, being a DLC centered around Genki, it's pretty much safe to assume that wasn't going to be anything terribly involved with a plot. That sounds like it would be more reserved for Gangstas in Space/Trouble with Clones later in the year.

Horse armor is literally horse armor. This is more akin to the Orrey or the Wizard's Tower. it gives you fun activies to do, for a small fee. I'm certainly not remorsing the first pack.
