I'm driving to go buy some random property, I stop the car on the sidewalk but before I get out some fat ho kinda bumps into my car, then gets on the ground and says "I don't have health insurance", then I get out of the car to buy the property, my gang member gets out, says something like "I don't need this poo poo" and shoots her

Was $20k short of a stronghold lvl2 upgrade, so I decided to just run around and shoot people and waste time till the next bank tick.

Ran to the first red dot I saw on my map.

It was Genki.

Gang Operations are weird. You have to get close enough to "trigger" them before you start killing people. It seems if you kill any of the targets before you actually trigger the operation, you can't clear it. You have to run away and let everyone respawn and try again.

I think this was intentional to keep you from nuking operations with the helicopter, but it's still kind of a weird way to handle it especially since the game doesn't tell you. It would make more sense if killing a target without triggering the operation caused a little "Gang Spooked!" message to appear and they'd all run away so you'd have to try again.

Yet you can still helicopter nuke as long as you do it from close.

A lot of people seem to like when the music starts playing during a mission but no one has mentioned the one that made me laugh the hardest. When you start chopping up Luchadors with a chainsaw and "You're the Best" starts playing. Just a weird little moment.

Having beat the game the characters and there interactions are the best part(again), which really makes the disjointedness of some of the cutscenes (or lack of) worse.

Gat's death is the worst part of the game IMO, he should have went out like Carlos or Aisha in a cutscene or 3. Shaundi's character change suffered from it too. It seemed to me she's gun-ho on killing the syndicate/phillipe because she was hot for Gat.

Both endings where great but I think it could have been better if they where combined into one. The Boss would choose both cuz that's how the Saints roll. Something like: Go after Killbane in Three Way, the Daedalus shows up, then a final mission to save Shaundi and the others.

So is there no way to recolor the STAG armor? I can see you can rebuy it as an outfit from the store after the ending, but the individual pieces aren't for sale so you can't color them. I'm also disappointed theres no cape. If any game should have a cape its SR3.

Also, I reeeally feel like my game is skipping cutscenes or something. On half the missions I'm just plopped somewhere with an objective, then once it's over I'm usually dumped back onto the street again. I have no fuckin' idea what's happening half the time.

Yeah mine is too. It looks like that's been pretty common for people. It's infuriating. I'd be okay with it if you could at least replay cutscenes, but it looks like that's an SR 1/2 thing they took out for no understandable reason. Then again 'replay' assumes it played in the first place.

There's a lot of things I really enjoy about this game, but the generally poor cutscene work, poor selection of clothes/customizability/proper coloring, and some missing elements which were in 1/2 are making me slightly disappointed.

I know I asked this a couple pages ago, but no one answered:

1. I can't figure out how to upgrade my cribs. However I'm only near the beginning of act 2, maybe it's not unlocked yet?

2. If I want to run around most of the game doing most of the things with the most stuff/people, should I rush through the story missions or save them til I've finished a bunch of activities? Or rush through the story until X point?

Are there not a lot of cutscenes at the end of missions? It seems like a lot of them end abruptly, but some of them do have cutscenes that flesh it out.

Don't pick giving him to STAG All that does is let you skip all the activities, gang operations, property buying, etc. for one neighborhood. There's a bonus you can buy on your phone once that does the same thing. Also Birk never shows up or is mentioned outside of existing radio ads again if you pick that.

There needs to be an option to remove brutes from the game. Having an enemy that spawns faster than I can kill them and can destroy any vehicle faster than I can escape it is just loving stupid.

A lot of the missions do end abruptly, but I'm sure I'm outright missing some cutscenes associated with activities (which seems to come down to 'you didn't do activities in the right order' or some BS). A couple cutscenes I'm not sure if I even saw the whole one or not, because they abruptly ended in mid-sentence. And a couple referred to events that the game hadn't actually showed me at any point, one of which has to do with the tower decision I made.

Generally I find the cutscenes all have a kind of incomplete too-short feel, they seem disjointed. I just did some awesome stuff and I'm dumped on a street and/or left vaguely confused? I dunno. Maybe I'm spoiled by SR2's excellent cutscenes but I feel like THQ dropped the ball constantly on them in SR3. (So far- only at the start of act 2.)

I guess we were all too weak to resist every single bit of media that was leaked before the release. I really, really wish I hadn't seen both the Luchadores part and the Deckers mission months before the game came out. Both of those missions would've been so amazing going in blind, and I'm actually jealous of anyone who didn't see the footage beforehand that spoiled them both.

In SR2 the Phoenix and the Hammerhead were the best cars overall due to solid handling and good speed and damage resistance before pimped out and that if you made them convertibles they could seat 4, making it super amazing for co-op missions.

In SR3, the Hammerhead and the Phoenix have backseats if you make them convertibles, but it seems people can't use them to make it 4 seats overall and it sucks. I have this awesome Hammerhead with super retarded exhaust pipes and is pretty bitchin' but I can't haul my buddies in it. Is there a way to fix this?

If there isn't, what are the best all-around 4 seater cars that are good for taking on anything? I found that only the Bootlegger, Infuego, and Blade did everything well in terms of damage resistance, speed, and acceleration compared to all the other 4 seater cars I've seen.

I found the easiest way to make sure you properly activate gang ops is to start by running them down in your car. Don't fire a shot until you're right in the middle of them.

Try upgrading your guns. Also, if you see them arriving on a vehicle, destroy that vehicle as quickly as possible. If you get it while they're still on it or even next to it it should do a nice amount of damage.

If you're quick, you can blow up an incoming car carrying a brute with a grenade or rocket, and it will instantly kill the brute since they're still inside the vehicle.

I find the melee ones the most annoying since they're always right in your face knocking you around, and the only way to outrun them is sprinting, so you can either move away from them or shoot them, but not both at the same time.

Gatling gun ones are the easiest since you can just find a piece of the environment to hide behind and shoot around the corner.

I find the RC Possessor the best thing for killing brutes quick when they show up. Also note that flashbangs and electric grenades stun them. But yeah they're a pretty big pain in the rear end even when you're level 50.
