That was great, amazing even. Only thing I could fault it with is not getting any of the ray guns after you beat it. The cutscenes really made it, tons of good dialog. If Genkibowl had it like this it would've been better, even with the upgraded activities. There's even continuity, Fem1 has the random line "After that I could use a massage.". In GiS she recommends to Jenny "Get a massage or drive through the city at 100mph, both are great stress relievers."

Laura Bailey is just spot on with the tone and delivery with all of her lines. She's the best boss out of all voices, everything sounds natural coming from her. I'd even venture to say that her role in SR:TT is one of the best voice acting performances in video games. One of those small atmospheric things that I felt SR:TT blew SR2 out of the water in was voice acting, poo poo is just no comparison to the last game.

Yeah, I'm getting the crash after launching as well. Dagnabbit. At least the relatively short playthroughs make it pretty feasible to play all the boss voices in turn. I haven't been disappointed by English and Russian bosses. (Though "gently caress My Life" sounded more convincing with the former, he actually sounded exasperated. So I guess I'll do Fem1 for the next full playthrough as well.

Male Boss 2 is still the most underrated voice. He has a similar "this is loving ridiculous" tone to everything he does, like FB1.

I agree with this and everything else said about F1. It's the right mix of tough and ladylike. I hope Volition keeps her on board, and that whatever SR4 ends up being will have continuity with 3, so I can keep hanging out with her and the crew.

Cockney boss is completely underrated. I can't do any other male voice, he just brings a certain special touch to the madness and the mayhem. And that VTOL line is by far the best. Has anyone found any special lines for zombie voice?

Fun Fact: Robin Atkin Downes does the Cockney Boss voice in SR3, he looks as badass as you'd think: ![]() He played a really badass Irish gangster (Lachlan McDermott.) in the season 7 of Criminal Minds. However, he was not the VA who did Cockney Boss in SR2. That honor goes to Charles Shaughnessy: ![]() You may know him as Max Sheffield, from The Nanny. He is considerably not very badass.

I knew Downes did the voice for 3 and I like his version a bit better. I didn't know he played another badass role and looked the part too, though. That's even more awesome.

Okay, I just finished "Gangstas In Space". Kinda wish there was one more mission in it, but I'm satisfied. I'm trying to guess some of the movies or shows they're referencing in the backlot area: the crash scene looks to be "Lost" and, of course, there's a mention of "Baby vs. Cobra" and the RF:Guerrilla set, which is sad in a way. Also, Andy Zhen goes out like Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon. I was laughing at that and "Well, that's a wrap".

Anyone have backed up .exe's of the game (just the DX11 one is fine) from before the patch that went out today? I'd like to play the game at least until they fix the problem causing the game to close on start up, and apparently people have found that replacing the exe with the older one works fine.

Just finished it myself. The air combat sequences at the end are a poo poo load of fun if you keep the ship in plane mode and have a fast paced dogfight with the enemy ships, all while trying to stay in range for the virus transmission! If anyone's having trouble completing that section because their ship is so fragile, you can just fly around the buildings in a tight arc, you'll never get hit and the virus will still upload. But what fun is that? Any word on when the replay patch is coming out? I missed a few of the clapboards.

I enjoyed Genkibowl, but GiS was a hell of a thing. The awful acting with Russian boss was fantastic, and that final shot of the mission was loving perfect. More than anything else, I wish we had gotten the alien chick outfits with the neon crotch lights; my fat zombie boss would look amazing in that.

VOLITION WHY U DO DIS It seems i got the bug too, the forums at saintsrow.com and the steam boards are being monitored by volition to try and replicate the bug, its been almost 12 hours now? so it seems they haven't found out yet what causes it. Some people say its a DRM issue, so out of curiosity is DRM involved if you're using steam in a country that usually gets some of the games filtered off it? (for example i can't buy any capcom, or rockstar games because of that)
