A better mechanic would have been to just make the vehicle invincible while being delivered, and make the AI just crash straight next to you. It's probably because in an original play of the mission it would auto start the next one instead of bumping you back to the open world. I have code in the mod to check whether it's a replay and not force next mission so you return. It's probably just missing a teleport command. I'll take care of it for the next release. Thanks! Also, screenshots and videos of mods in action is always my favorite kind of thanks.

They were just standing in a void under the city when at the "undisclosed syndicate location" I think it's because that area is part of the map from before you own the powerplant stronghold, and because I own it, that area no longer exists in my game.. Thanks for the bug reports. I should be able to fix both of those and have a corrected version out there soon. Here's a few others that people have found that I'm fixing as well: sh03 Stop all the downloading - Powerplant interior not loading. You parachute and fall into nothing m06 The Belgian Problem - after completing the mission it teleports you out to sea m07 Return to Steelport - Safeword bdsm club isn't loading. Also, if it does load there is a missing door mover to go to the basement. Certain missions remove ammo/weapons on replay so you lose all your purchased grenades for example.

Is it possible to leave those areas open? I really wanted to explore more of the Morning Star building and was disappointed when it was closed up following the completion of the mission, even if I didn't blow it up.

With the replay mod, playing any of the first 5 missions will reenable it permanently (until you play a mission post #6.) Also, you can grab an updated version of the Mission replay mod that fixes all the stronghold missions. I don't know if the latest patch fixes this, but http://deckers.die's final cutscene doesn't load the background, just Killbane and Matt walking down a glitchy crowded street.

This could just be my game/system, but it seems like the game speeds up during the climax of Murderbrawl when replaying it. I noticed That Song that plays was playing faster than normal, and it seemed like the action and animations were a little faster as well, and the announcers were talking over each other.

Once you hit 48 respect, you buy Bullet Invulnerability and you can go nuts in the PGSERC that features the chaingun brutes.

So if you go to the church in the Luchadore district (near the trailblazing start) and hang around across the street from there then you appear to have a pretty good chance of getting the mascot survival mission.

Wow, fantastic work man. I already posted about this in the gameplay thread, but thought people more familiar with the inner workings of the game might have some insights: has anyone noticed their boss's face looking... pinched and long in cutscenes? Especially in the cutscene where they're thrown into jail and meet the Syndicate for the first time. I noticed it on my first play through and just assumed I'd cocked up the character creation. I played it again without loving with face settings at all and, while my lady boss's looks fine in the creator and game itself, in the cutscenes it's really narrow and noticeably weird. I've checked out a few youtubs of the scene from other people and it's most noticeable with female characters, but seems to affect dudes a little as well. When I get home from work I'll install the replay mod and see if I can recreate the issue again.

Mission Replay v2 is out that adds 4 strongholds and 18 minor missions, as well a bunch of bug fixes: http://idolninja.com/blog/?p=1259 Thanks for the help earlier with testing, Casull. v2 Changelog Added 4 stronghold missions and 18 minor character missions to replay: Stronghold: The Powder Room Stronghold: Pimps Up, Hos Down Stronghold: Stop All The Downloading Stronghold: 3 Count Beatdown Pierce, Kinzie, Zimos, Angel arcs (18 activity and cutscene missions) FIXES: m01 Good Heists Gone Bad - Game no longer crashes after completion. Character customization skipped on replay. Mission script bug where players could not shoot out the window of the plane has been fixed for both replay and first time playthrough. m03 We're Going to Need Guns - Skips Friendly Fire weapon upgrading/purchase check on replay so players with full ammo/upgrades can get past this point by simply exiting out of the menu. m07 Return to Steelport - Safeword BDSM Club zone now loads correctly so you can rescue Zimos. The door in the manager's office was also fixed to open correctly after interrogation sh02 Pimps Up, Hos Down - Safeword BDSM Club loads correctly and no longer teleports players to the roof on start. Also, players are teleported back outside at mission complete and should no longer stuck in the garage where the brute was killed. sh03 Stop All the Downloading. Volition has plans to release an upcoming unlockables dlc which gives the player both choices for all the missions, and we are very conscientious and careful not to mod in anything that might infringe upon things like that.

Pony cart fun. Adding a new vehicle cheat wouldn't work so I had to change the givetaxi cheat over to it. The animations are also missing so you end drive it around while standing up just like in the pic. Pretty amusing.

I'm curious what the limitations are on modding in general. Stuff I'd like to see: - Insurance Fraud ragdoll mode whenever you want, so I can climb to the top of buildings and ragdoll myself. - Insurance Fraud ragdoll mode as a toggle with increased, even higher than adrenaline mode 'aftertouch' (controlling the ragdoll) so I can fly around like superman. - Changing the playermodel to a ped model or a brute or Johnny Gat. It's alright you can't add pedestrian clothes, but it'd be really neat if we could just play as any ingame model like the unlockable toilet outfit. - Radio anywhere, like you have an mp3 player. - Modded cars with infinite topspeeds so you just keep going faster and faster until you literally can't control your car at all and slam into a wall or the game crashes. I suppose the only one I really want is the ragdolling anywhere thing. Being able to uncheck the upgrade checkboxes would be incredible, too, but I don't see that happening anytime soon considering how fairly simple the other mods have been.
