In just a few weeks time, gibbed has already unlocked a feature that was "too difficult to implement" and will probably get it working. It's feasible to us (the people who know what a 'mod' actually is) and we love the unlocked unpolished features, but i can totally understand why they wouldn't include/expose them in the final release.

IdolNinja posted:SRTT being stuck on one time of day in the open world always annoyed the holy hell out of me. So, I took a break from working on the GoS gui and was able to create an actual day/night cycle. The transitions are currently abrupt since Volition only bothered to create 4 times of day (sunrise, noon, sunset, and night.) But, I should be able to easily create a bunch of transitions to make the changes a lot smoother.

Yeah, i've had a few inconsistencies with various transitions from random timezones to another - presumably some subset of TOD parameters isn't correctly or at all updated, mostly with more exotic environment effects (like mars sandstorm) or bloom.
