I found two handguns in the dungeon, but one is a superior handgun. If I use it to make a phoenix blaster, the characteristic of the handgun won't carry over will it? Because I'll sell that one and use the regular handgun if that's the case.

When you craft a new item it gets random stats. What's the best way to find mimics? I need my cross necklace?

I found a few of them on my hell highway, no idea if the shadow chest mimic's are more valuable or something.

Never seen a mimic in hell, but I've mostly hung out on my wooden platforms. I'll look around.

It probably wouldn't be too difficult to get one or two more source images and just go off that. That particular pose and angle were really common in DBZ, if I'm referencing my decade-old memories of the show right.

The repeaters are slightly worse, but combined with the Archery Potions become dramatically better. So it's up to you if you want to deal with the hassle of keeping a supply. It is also notably easier to get repeaters compared to the guns if you didn't get a clockwork rifle from the Wall kill.

Wow, it seems reforging is completely impractical unless you've already broken the game. It costs an astronomical amount for such a tiny effect. I could see if you want to fix something below-normal, but I can't think of any interesting ways to make money fast enough for improvements to not be stupid. I could idle under a fish generator while I alt-tab to something more interesting, but then I could just skip the BS and cheat the prefixes in (you can do that, right?). If the game could guarantee improvements for a greater fee, then we'd be onto something.

Well I picked up 150+ plat somewhere in a frost legion attack on a multiplayer server (I think someone else dropped it but no-one claimed it). I've reforged all my accessories to the highest levels of various attributes and I still have at least 100 plat left muahaha. My advice to you is to farm normal mode bosses for demonite to sell, EoW is a piece of cake eventually and you're not restricted to a night so you could just make a shitload of Worm Foods and kill him over and over. Once you can hit for 150 damage consistently you can kill him on his first pass.

I'm not sure, is this a 3rd party API they're adopting or was it something Redigit had organised?

So my brother and I have about 20 or 30 Shadow Orbs in one area of the map, none of the orbs are more than 20 blocks or so from each other. There are also about 6 or 7 demon altar thingies in that area. That's pretty unusual right?

However, corrupt zones usually have a cluster of 5-10 altars at one spot in the horizontal connecting shaft.

A couple days late but I didn't see a post about it: TShock officially released a stable version of their dedicated server mod for 1.1.1, which can run on Linux or Windows, and has a bunch of features designed to make it somewhat more possible to play this game with pubbies without it just being an awful grief-fest. http://tshock.co/xf/index.php

I understand there's a bug that allows the production of infinite water by pumping it into the same reservoir it's being pumped from. Has this bug been fixed, or am I doing something wrong? Because I built this...![]() ...to keep the area I'm growing my water plants in fully moistened, and it doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Why do I want a pump in the first place? Because for some reason, the water level keeps dropping... does waterleaf actually consume water? Or filling water bottles? Is it something to do with the snow biome?

Also all the new torches don't save properly, most of the time they'll disappear when you load the map.
