Has anyone noticed that thetvdb listing for GameCenter CX's special is messed up? (http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=84501&seasonid=39162&lid=7). I use this site to feed my HTPC and it is missing/incorrectly matching a lot of the specials I had working previously. Does anyone here have the experience to correct this with the episode guides available? I've privately taken a pass at it, but there a some episodes I just can't match up to the guides.

Long time lurker here wondering if you could help me out. One of the things my wife and I love is GCCX, we watch it whenever new episodes come out. This year for her birthday instead of a big party, I'm throwing her a surprise GCCX party. She loves Super Mario World, so her challenge is to complete all 96 levels (she is much better than Arino!) in a day. I'm trying to replicate segments from the show to break up the day. Here is what I have come up with so far: I cut together a video open and made a Arino-styled face-paste title screen, got her a uniform, am having some friends mail in post cards for "Ring Ring Tactics," got some cooling pads, getting some Japanese snacks, having some friends stop over as AD's to take over at times and having some other friends write/draw messages of support. Can you think of anything else that might be fun and able to be replicated? Thanks for any suggestions!

Most of the arcades have closed around here, the only one that we could get to and back in a reasonable amount of time is located at one of the busiest malls in the country, so it would be a big hassle. Time to lament the death of the local arcade some more...

I'll probably being doing the roles of Kibe, Abe and Suda all in one. I think having the AD's over will provide some natural reactions, but maybe I could pull some clips of Arino for extra support! You might be able to find a place that can get you an arcade machine or a crane game, put it in the garage (or some other suitable place), and then have a surprise arcade trip. I don't know if you can rent an arcade manager, though. Maybe a crane machine with an elderly Japanese lady in it?!?!
