Very disappointed Gamersfirst didn't add Powerman 5000's "When Worlds Collide" to the in-game soundtrack in spirit of the server merges. In other news, there are Colby players griming up my game now and wow I haven't seen this many silvers in forever.

So now on top of terrible attack/defense objective mechanics, the HVR still being hilariously broken, and performance in Waterfront being baked rear end, everyone from the West and East coasts now has terrible latency.

Lagspikes sound very normal for APB. I played some earlier today, driving feels super weird after playing GTAV, making a turn took like 3 seconds.  Also, Reloaded should implement a video editor like GTAV, pulls some strings, Sion!

Hooray engine update. When the game and my $60 went into the bin how many years ago now I could have never fathomed people would be still playing it and it would still have an active dev team. I'm not surprised the APB community is salty about certain things because gamers are terrible people. The extent of their huge whiny babying is pretty funny though. It's amazing how much game development has changed to the point of people expect public PR releases about games (in this case a free one) constantly. APB despite its flaws is still one of the best online shooters. Not sure it really needs constant content releases as it stands well on its own similar to games like Unreal Tournament, Quake, and Tribes. Looking forward for when the new engine and poo poo is working. Personal thanks to every one of you that help maintain this game alive. Very rarelly a game debounce when falls into a "niche appealing-very few people have even heard of it", hope this is the case for APB. Its a game that really deserve it. Also, I hope they change the prices of weapons and poo poo. I want to own weapons forever, and pay less than 4$ for each one.. specially in a game like APB.

They were selling unslotted account permanent weapons for around 5 bucks each, not sure if they kept that up. A stock NTEC and SR15 is really all you need, other stuff just for fun.

The new refer-a-friend program means you can get points to redeem for quite a few neat account wide guns and cars. Assuming you have the time to play missions with the referred person. Also there's nothing really stopping you from just referring yourself on another email and earning the points that way. We've speculated completing tutorial objectives in addition to completing missions on the referred account increases points earned.
