I'm convinced legionnaire is the best solo queue carry in the game right now. Even if you don't mid or jungle, but lane with a decent stunner its usually pretty easy. Being able to instagib supports and absolutely destroy hard carries with sols+blademail is almost too much fun. Definitely the most fun play style in the game right now for me. e: In some games I've been doing different builds without hotbl as core. I replaced it with things like plated, rott, blademail, helm of iron will for insanitarius, sols etc. Getting armor with the bucklers lets him jungle just as fine with proper stacking and charge use. There are a lot different item builds to go on him although some are more "codex fayde" sort of tier.. namely the shroud+riftshards but drat is it fun. Legio, and also jungle Ra or laning Ra, are also great solo queue carries where you can farm forever while killing people who don't understand how Meteor works, while still having money to ward for your own protection. Also, HotBL was actually buffed to a ridiculous level for junglers: since it's a guaranteed block, and most jungle creeps don't do much more than 40 damage or attack more than once a second, the 400ms recharge per charge means you can heal without taking any damage while tanking most creeps. I think that was mentioned before but it bears repeating, because especially for Ra, this makes farming with him even easier than before. Gank a lane, then go heal while you kill stacks in a jungle nonstop till the next gank! Well, that's how it was before, but now it's faster. If you can duo-queue though, a really powerful gimmick is CD plus any disabler like Elec, Polly, Glacius, or even Monarch. Conduit destroys people early on, and if their teammate sticks around, there's a good chance they'll die before your conduit bonus damage expires. Hell, a pair I used to play with while I'd mid would run Accursed + CD in the suicide lane; Accursed would Sear a target, CD conduits them, and Accursed would dive and keep searing the target while CD destroys the seared target as Accursed shields as needed to tank the tower. Enemy stunners can wreck it, but if they blow their stun outside of the tower, they can't do much. vvv I don't even understand Cthuluphant. He looks like poo poo, but I've had teams absolutely wrecked by him since he eventually reaches the point of being nigh-unkillable, usually while packing SB3 and a Daemonic or some such poo poo, which combined with his slow means he actually breaks people. I've been having a lot of luck solo queque with cthuluphant. His shield absorbs retarded amounts of dmg with just 1 level in it so you can get into autoattack standoffs with any hero, and trampling a clashing creepwave into an enemy hero does a lot of early dmg. Nothing really special but I like the aggressive playstyle a lot.

I'm convinced the easiest way to solo-queue yourself to glory is just to pick Jereziah every game. The hero is so stupidly strong and capable of single handedly turning team fights in the mid-late game that he offsets any skill differential / early game advantage the other team may pick up (i.e. lost mid / lanes). His basic skillset is just made to frustrate people between the slow aura / immunity / heal, and hearing 'Solssssssssss Blesssssssssssing' means that your team gets free beatdowns for the next 6-7 seconds because the ultimate just causes mass confusion and panic in the other team as they lose all sense of coordination. People won't buy a Nullfire Blade until the 1750+ tier (rare exception if theres a NH or MOA or something), so you're pretty much free to do whatever you want - i.e. repel yourself and TP if ganked. Getting stomped? Just repel your carry and cast Sol's blessing in the fight. Hes still a relatively tanky hero, and Sol's blessing basically renders DM / Panda / Rampage damageless for the duration. Core items are Linkens, Ghost Marchers / Post Haste, Storm Spirit, or alternately if you're farming well, an early Mock and then a Sheepstick.

If you pair up with a ranged stunner and go into the woods and get to level 2 with the first creep camp, there's a pretty good chance you can then head straight for the lane and get at least one kill, depending on the quality of the enemy players of course. Then back into the jungle and run yourself a mana pot, rinse and repeat. His ult can do retarded amounts of damage if you can hit someone with all the waves of it. For example, any non-stunning enemy on the other side of the creeps, charge the creeps into them for the stun and start beating on them. In most cases, they'll turn to run in a straight line backwards, and if you hit your ult then, they have just set you up for it. Or be lucky enough to have a pollywog priest on the enemy team who uses his hold on you while you're facing him with your ult and he kills himself.

I'm kinda late but in regards to the community, my god it's awful: Played a game yesterday where we had a jungler, a solo ranged carry bot, a Fayde mid and an Elec/Midas. Midas says he's going mid. That would mean that Elec/Fayde would be double melee top. I tell him no, let Fayde go mid, we'd be much stronger in lanes. "No loving way I'm letting an orange Fayde solo mid"... blah blah blah typical HoN player stuff. He is in full troll mode and duos mid with Fayde, leaving me (elec) solo top vs. Plague/Swift. I didn't die until they tower dove at 6 and blasted both ults on me, and then continued to die after that as they had snowballed to around level 8 and I was still level 6. He's talking mad poo poo the entire time, "Like I'm going to take advice from a 1/4 Elec", completely ignoring the fact that he left me top solo. We had to wait until 30 minutes to concede because as all trolls do, he wouldn't concede. If he was going to ruin the game why did he care if oj solo'd mid? I don't get it. loving HoN.

Is there really any way to handle keeper if the lane hes jungling by doesn't gently caress with him at all? I got fed 7 kills as swiftblade but it didn't mean anything when ol' creeper pops out at 20mins with riftshards, skull, and elder parasite and 4 shots my entire team.

Berzerker looks really fun but I have to admit I'm really tired of so much tanky DPS heroes. I personally feel that the existence of so much tanky DPS in LoL is a strong reason that game is worse than HoN, so to see HoN adapt that hero design mentality just frustrates me. Basically, I don't like that heroes get to build HotBL, Headdress, Behe Heart, and still dish out tons of damage.

Does he really have a physical stun? The videos are never captioned so I can never tell what they're saying. (Even Riot captions their spotlight videos!) It looked like he stunned a Torturer with shrunken active. Can someone summarize for me what his other abilities do? I'd appreciate it!

The chain appears to be a root that activates if they don't move out of range of it in time. He has an activated ability that saps strength from nearby enemies, and heals himself some during the duration. I'm not sure if it's a flat str steal or a %, nor the amount of the heal. His 3rd ability marks an enemy, revealing them for the duration - so they can't juke through fog or go invis, and while Berzerker is facing them he gets a MS buff. The CD refreshes if he kills the target, so he can chain it. It also has a low manacost. His ult increases the amount of damage he takes, but gives him "resistance" to stuns and CC effects. I'm not sure if that just means they last a smaller amount of time or if it's immunity.
