It's not worth ALL of that money, but it would be worth it to have something like that for areas that are prone to earthquakes. Might be a better idea to have it on the floor instead of wall-mounted; that way, it can't just fall off the mounts, hit the floor, and break. The money you save from that might cover the costs of having one of those systems.

But, again, that's mighty

expensive for something like that.
