Elysiume posted:What is happening here? Ask Me For Warez posted:#34 is knocking the kick returner down so that Stanford gets the touchback rather than possibly poor field position. I didn't watch the Fiesta Bowl though so I'm without context on when this took place. Yeah, freshman returning the kickoff from about 10yds deep in the endzone. If you look at the end of the clip, right after he gets put on his rear end, OSU is already in place on that end of the field, and he likely would never have made it to the 20yd line. So the more knowledgeable player decided to lay him out to get them a touchback. Had the ball crossed the line though, he would have been down just outside of the endzone. It was pretty risky either way.

GOT BANNED posted:Holy poo poo, I've been looking for this video forever. Please tell me you have a link to it. Unfortunately no... I lost the video link, along with the name of the band a looooong time ago those were captured back when it first surfaced.I just remember the video was hilariously bad (aside from the awful music). They're some Christian hardcore band, and the song was about some girl committing suicide.

Pretentious Turtle posted:Maybe I'm remembering the shoe technique wrong, but how the gently caress does that happen? Well first of all, he was out camping with his wife and decided to bring a bottle of wine but forgot the corkscrew. So he busted out his phone and looked up ways to open the bottle without one. Which led him to the shoe technique... Apparently it was a mixture of being a rubber cork, and maybe the wrong shoe technique? The video he showed me had someone hitting the end of the bottle with the heel of a shoe, rather than placing the bottle IN the show and hitting it against a hard surface, like every other video I've seen.
