Misogynist posted:Well, Chrome, it's been a fun ride for the last year and a half or so, but I've finally gotten fed up with your constant freezes, crashes and other stability problems. I'm moving back in with Firefox. If we're both unmarried by the time we're 40, we can get married, okay? I've been on the dev version for years and can count the number of unstable builds I've come across on one hand. Something's up with your computer, dude.

This just happened to my sibling's Chrome theme (the white on the left and right of the middle bar). Is there an easy way to fix this?

I get text artifacting like this on text occasionally on a number of different sites. Anyone know the cause?

I'm really missing the list of recently closed tabs at the bottom of the new tab page, personally.

Is there a chrome extension or userscript or something that'll turn all the really crufty Google urls to what they're actually supposed to be? Really tired of getting "https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&ved=0CC4QFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBlah&ei=KJnvUv7-KpStsQTl04HoDw&usg=AFQjCNEPfUMF_cK39Oi47I8fNfPRKNHVrA&sig2=99hGYj80Ix1PXuo8GM75kw&bvm=bv.60444564,d.cWc" instead of "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blah"

If you update to the Chrome 35 beta and go to about://flags to turn DirectWrite on, it actually works now! Hooray, better fonts!

so apparently forecastfox's actually useful extension died in 2013 and I uninstalled it without realizing I couldn't get it back. Any recommendations for a good weather extension? I'd really like it to click on the toolbar button and have the radar show up, but any good one would be fine.

Kaizoku posted:Isn't this roughly the worst possible time for such an extension, since imgur just started converting all gifs to their new homespun mp4 based format? Gfycat uses WebMs and mp4s while imgur is only using mp4s - and imgur will only do the mp4s if people are specifically linking the gifv version, if I'm reading right.

I'm having a really annoying issue - Twitter doesn't load correctly in Chrome off and on, frequently just leaving me with a 'page is missing' error. Clearing my cookies usually fixes it (for a little while). Any solutions?

I tried uBlock, immediately encountered several pages that were just broken unless I turned off all element hiding rules, and then got immensely frustrated with the bad UI for blocking custom sections of a page. I'll stick with regular Adblock.
