It's not that it's not a big deal. It's a matter of accepting him, including his faults. He's still the same guy you love. He's still capable of all those other things that make it so you don't want to dump him. In a lot of relationships, a partner comes up against something about their SO that they really dislike. That doesn't necessarily mean that they should break up.

So the best thing you can do is contextualize this into the complete, flawed, person that he is. And then you need to figure out what you actually believe. Then you need to understand whether or not you can accept someone who believes differently.

Is he a pedophile? My guess is that if he's looking chicks with big breasts, probably not. A 17 year old taking a self photo that gets uploaded on facebook and then taken and aggregated somewhere else is not all that far from an 18 year old doing a hardcore scene. That doesn't mean that someone looking at those two things is in the clear, it just means he's not strictly a pedophile.

Is he doing this often? As in, is this an actual fetish? Does he actually want to date someone who is 16? My guess is probably not.

Is he a threat to underaged women? Is he a predator? I doubt that too.

So think hard about these things, and figure out what exactly this makes him. Then you need to figure out why you're bothered by it.

Is it simply the principle of the thing? Is it because you believe that his tacit endorsement of this hyper-sexualization of our youth is bad? Is it because you feel threatened by younger girls? Is it because you actually believe that he is about to go out and attempt to befriend and coerce girls into posting these kinds of pics, and join those kinds of communities?

At that point you can have a discussion with him about what exactly bothers you, and figure out more about him. And at THAT point you can make a solid decision on whether or not you can live with this, and what your boundaries are. And then he can agree to that, or not, as he desires. One perfectly fine boundary is "you hosed up by making it so I ran across this, and it makes me want to slap you and cry at the same time. Don't be so inconsiderate of me and my feelings." Just because, on occasion he does this, and he doesn't see anything wrong with it (if he doesn't) doesn't mean he can flaunt it. That's just rude, and a whole other character flaw.

There's one more analogy. I mean, someone who just committed suicide is probably depressed. It's like kicking a man while he is down.
