The answer to the question 'who actually gives a gently caress about Terracciano's taste in video game girlfriends/video game endings/beer/weddings' entices me only slightly less than the answer to the question 'who seriously gives a gently caress about the human bolognese over here'. The answer to both, of course, should be nobody. This is both uninspired and uninspiring. Wake me up when the comic starts being interesting again.

Was that even the last time Dominic engaged the Beast? Celesto had the beasty-babies in...Prontus, I think, and his cosplay in Errosus. I can't remember when last he foigt the real McCoy.

A completely non-sequitur, deus ex machina climax? Nothing's more satisfying than that, sign me up for more.

I think I understand that terrible "My sentiments exactly," line now. It's not just awful dialogue, it's that that rear end in a top hat Terraciano cant let the comic end without Dominic having the last word. I'd be curious to know if the same thing happened every other time he had a big revelation where someone said something to him; did he do it then as well? I would have sworn that he said something like "Fascinating," after High Priestess Boobs McLOSTTREASURE said her stupid magic face poo poo.

I'm taking this in a different direction: the final boss of Dominic Deegan, the great evil of Terraccino's universe- it's Art, actual, competent Art. Seriously, The Beast! is becoming Vitruvian Man(an anatomical model), he's clearly a symbol of proper anatomy, which is wholly anathema to the Deegan Universe. It's only a matter of time before Dominic has to fight The Characters-in-Actual-Tensionmancer and King Mature-and-Respectful-Depiction-of-surprise sex.

I fully expect Mookie to right something similar to the ending of DD.

So it has a mouth, but talks from it's eye? Is the beast even mobile? He's in the same pose as last comic. I'm beginning to think he's literally from the jr. high sketchbook and Mookie thinks that any alteration, even in perspective, would be an insult.

The human form isn't even that great for combat. In fact, compared to an alarming amount of things on the planet, its incredibly outmatched. Why didn't the Beast become part tiger or great white shark or goliath bird-eating spider?

I just cannot get over how loving goofy that beast looks. Also, that's got to be the lamest villain speech I've heard in a long time. "Sure, you've easily beaten me in every single previous encounter, but this time it'll be different! Really! I swear!"

Gah. I am starting to loath the mindscape comics. It's always an excuse for Mookie to be inefficient with his panel space. I mean, take today where Dominic is looking at this stupid thing. And because Mookie can't draw that thing in a different pose or smaller, we now have to read the comic in a U. Also, thanks for telling us about those side characters instead of showing us. That's loving useful. I wanted to stare at your lovely Beast, jesus, vitruvian man thing. It looks loving static as hell and is now talking as much as Skeletor.

The flow of dialogue in this page is utter garbage. Dominic's speech bubbles are part of a completely different conversation until you realize that "influential family" he's talking about is that Masters. I tried reading this two different ways before actually getting to the right one. And I like how he decided to base it off the Vitruvian Man, but conveniently designed it to not have any hands or feet.

Well, considering how offhandedly King Dave dismissed those threats, it's at least consistent. On the other hand, there's no chance they will be mentioned again after, say, Friday. And brace yourself for more linky reminders!
