Since people aren't going to stop asking about the server changes, maybe it would be a good thing to add at the top of the OP. Something like this post. Also mention that DICE added an option in the filter which you have to enable in order to see the normal EA servers. I'm guessing this would deal with the majority of complaints about the server changes. Then, when people pop in to ask about this Earth-shattering change in the middle of your regularly scheduled discussions, you can tiredly tell them to read the OP and they'll feel foolish for a few seconds and then continue to play Battlefield 3. Everybody wins! On a side note, does anyone really like the server changes? I've been meaning to try more Conquest, but I haven't been able to get on as much as I used to, so when I do, I'd rather play Rush. I think in the long run this could be a change for the better; I was just really dismayed when I skimmed the last five or so pages and thought things would never be the same,  , etc.

Unfortunately, when the game mode changes the server empties out a bit, but that happens normally when a map changes. I really don't get why most people seem so adamantly opposed to this change. Different strokes I guess.

So I was trying to find that live action battlefield promo video those dudes did where they're all slamming on their c4 clackers after jumping from a skidloader... Apparently battlefield 3 inspired live action fan films exist. I think I saw some COD ones in there too.  Kids and man children running around in their backyards playing army man with a handheld camera and occasionally some editing software. Using their imagination? Learning the basics of storytelling and amateur film making? Nah, gently caress that noise. Video games brah.Sweet effects Oh god. Now I can't stop skipping around videos featuring kids acting out their high speed operator fantasies with their airsofts. Someone help. Please. 3/4 of a level away from the USAS. Must get it before the patch! e: I kind of wish there was a final killcam like in MW. Had an amazing one last night where 2 of us loaded up a jeep with C4, drove all the way across Kharg, ramped off of something and landed on top of a tank. We bailed out mid-air and both hit our plungers. Got about 600 points for killing the tank and a bunch of people to end the game. I would have loved for them to see the killcam on that. Instead of a bunch of silly untested balance changes (fixing frag rounds is the only real change I care about) I would rather they fix the numerous graphical and audio glitches that plague this game (that never occurred in BC strangely), I'm pretty tired of losing all audio except for gun fire, or that terrible flashing green screen. Are there any servers which run just the maps that have choppers/jets? I'm trying to level up my jet and it gets a little tiring using the server browser to find one, joining and finding I only have 2 minutes left to play, then backing out and finding a new one when the next maps loads

Do you play conquest or rush more often? Conquest tends to have more jets/choppers on the maps than their rush counterparts. I can deal with USASshattery a couple extra days or so. The main annoying thing about the USAS/Frag for me is that it's keeping me from leveling up Assault and Support, since it's way less prevalent on big outdoor maps. Since I play those most of the time to avoid the USAS poo poo, Assault and Support feel less useful than running with Javs or the BROFLAM. It'll be nice when I can (presumably) play close combat stuff like Metro and Grand Bazaar without wanting to punch kittens. I want to try out the later ARs and LMGs.

Arg I hate when you're playing with someone you like and one of their annoying friends join and just ruins the experience; some rear end in a top hat friend of a guy I was playing with had a massive freakout after I switched kits with his corpse to revive him since we were really low on tickets, he started yelling at me because he didn't want to use anything but his kit (so he could spam tubes on metro CQ), and told me it was a 'dumb idea' to do and I told him it's smart and if you aren't terrible you wouldn't complain since you should be able to use any kit anyways and saving tickets is always a good idea (especially when you're about to lose). Douche justified his terrible opinion by pointing out he went 20-6 (but finished 3rd last) and I went 17-8 (but finished in 2nd place).
