tactical_grace: The laser sight is useful only when hip-firing. It does not make you more accurate when aiming down the sights. It also gives away your position. I haven't found them too bad for the PDW's because at the ranges you should be using those things the increased accuracy can let you just hose people. Don't put them on your sniper rifles though. They don't do enough to let you noscope reliably and since the benefit isn't there for ADS you aren't helping yourself at all. I generally don't hip-fire a lot, so I don't give them much use. Your preference may vary.

I was playing Metro CQ and there was a squad of three camping the hallway with the lockers. I drove my little MAV straight down that drat hallway and got all three of them. Played some "hardcore" last night. I swear the first server was cursed. I quit in embarrassment after 4 TKs in one round. Didn't harm anyone on my team for the next few rounds in a new server. The funny thing is "Hardcore" still has options I want disabled like minimap spotting. Why are the game modes in BF3 such a joke? Core was making GBS threads me because it turns into a spamfest. At least in hc there aren't as many people randomly firing over where there could be enemies, or friends.
Gave someone that liked AMTRAKs the shits though because I kept going hunting, RPG style, or taking my friend Wall-E for a cruise.
