Out of the 6K points we need to level up the clan and get the new 60 member cap we have 477 points. I think what we need to do is start coordinating playtimes and grinding PVP matches to get way more points way faster but the problem with that is that nobody is ever on the clan PVP ever so we have nobody to fight.

I guess if we were ever really desperate to get to the 60 cap and we had 8 people on regularly we could make a backup clan to fight against though.

Since the only way I can rank up now is through pvp, I'd be down for grinding some matches out. I just made an Aile Strike that I am working on as well.

Not sure how strict they are about dummy clans, but I do fight myself in 1v1 pvp matches sometimes to finish the dailies quickly .

Keeping both of these points in mind, are there enough UK/EU Goons playing this besides me to warrant a clan for another timezone? There'd be plenty of overlap to allow for cross-clan play, too. Plus, aEUgoons would be the perfect name.

I was going to point you to the page with an actual link, but apparently the whole OGplanet site has done poo poo itself, so I'll just refer you to google. If you google sdgo ogplanet the creat a clan link is right there. It costs 20k points, so I would recommend you start a new player and just never spend any points. Seriously it took me like two hours tops to grind that much on my alt. Then once you found the clan, you can just pass off leadership to your main and boot the alt from the guild. Which makes me wonder why they bother with the 20k point thing to begin with, but whatever.

My only problem is that I named my alt Spacedad and that is a way better handle than ComputerJane.

Having played with both, Qubeley is far superior to Elmeth. The cannons on the big E only have two shots and knock down, which kills your bit DPS.

Edit: Also consider a Gunbarrel Dagger.

The cannons aren't what you should be focused on using with the Elmeth. It's better to get up close and ram the enemy to death.

You get points for ranking up, and there was an event where everybody would get points for playing X hours.

Thank god, I thought I was done with points after getting a decent set of suits, I didn't anticipate the overcustom system and the need for level protects. I also hit PO1 rank at the same time so I couldn't get points as easily from missions. I nearly drained all my suits in PvP trying to scrounge up just enough for overcustom attempt after attempt.

On that topic, what happens if you drain all your suits and don't have enough points to recharge them? Do you just have to wait for a points windfall in your mailbox or do suits slowly recharge over time?

It's a reward for playing during an event, I believe. Or compensation for some technical hitch related to that.

Yeah, I was planning on trying to get a Qubeley, but right now I'm just trying to build up some points and get the blueprint. I've been using the AR rank G-3 Gundam, which is pretty good, if a bit hard to score a direct hit. The splash damage is nice, though.

it's really hard to contrive a scenario where you're not going to have enough points left over to dump into even your crappy tutorial suit.

I find I get a lot more points from PVP than missions. Using a C rank GM Cannon II I don't have any problem paying for recharge or level protects.

Hopefully space will open in the clan soon, but in the meantime you can apply for the other clan Runescape if you'd like. I haven't played with that many of them, but they seem pretty chill to me.

Uhg. I think I might take a break from this game. It's the first game in a long time to actually make me remotely agitated playing. The Hard missions are just too ridiculously difficult, everything gives so little payoff, I crash after every other mission now, and the game punishes the hell out of you for playing with things like expensive energy recharges, winning teams in a PVP matches getting control of the room, inescapable melee stunlocking in a game that loves to send dozens of pure-melee enemies at you, and the whole overcustom system that requires expensive level protectors to not get hosed with.

This. I dumped a load of EXP packs into my Psyco and once you pick up Impenetrable Defence EX it becomes more or less an unstoppable tank. Better once you hit Ace and get the I-field, too. I'm now laughing my way through most missions on Normal and Hard ones are still do-able.

Yeah, three fully leveled Psyco Gundams and a fully leveled Apsalus-II can wreck pretty much any mission, even on hard. Just remember to use your beam special, not your melee special.

Though you lose your defense skill when you use your special until you gather additional SP. Keep that in mind if you are tanking stuff or taking hits.
