Seriously, #WhoWillWin? Is that like a joke or something? It's painfully obvious that they team up. Hell, every superhero X vs. Y is a team up; it's a trope at this point. Just goes to show Warner Bros. has zero respect or faith in its consumer base's intelligence. #WhoWillWin is code for "we know you'll buy literally anything we slap the Batman and Superman brand on, so gently caress you and give us our money, idiots."

You're wrong. The first half was really good because it was two very smart but completely opposite people playing an extremely well written cat and mouse game. Their actions were completely logical based on the information they each had, and their interactions were great because the characters were so similar in the way they thought but so different as people.
That actually started breaking down before L died, when Kira was able to plan for the actions of characters months ahead of time when he gave up the note. But the relationship between Kira and L was still strong enough to carry it. When that relationship was dropped, and suborbital mafia missiles were introduced, the series got unarguably worse. New L and Evil L were weak as hell characters. After Evil L died it picked up a bit again, but New L was still just a foil for Kira, and nothing more. I understand that it was important for the story for Kira to win, and that's what made the end so great, but it still wasn't as interesting or entertaining

As I said tho, the ending was completely perfect, so it sort of evens out

It and Quidditch Through the Ages were released as companion textbooks way back in 2001. Fantastic Beasts was actually really cute because it had notes by the students left in it, and it detailed something like 80 different creatures. It's too bad they turned it into such a generic, boring movie.

*That was the name Joker was translated to in the old 60's TV series, and old superfriends/batman cartoons. And guess some comics from the 80's.
