Seriosuly. It's really loving annoying to see 100 new replies to this thread and none of them are actually about Radiohead.

Sweet, just scored Toronto tix. Any idea when it'll sell out? I have an idiot friend who says he's going to buy tix "later." Even though it's a pretty huge venue (what's capacity, 40k+?), I'd say within the hour.

Capacity is about 36000 The Amplitheatre was 16000 and sold out in about 7 minutes.

The King of Limbs is also made of old bottles. Pablo Honey is made of 99% recycled grunge. Ha! Ha! I hate ticket talk too, but I think it's at least legitimate to ask for help and help out others with some tech support/strategising where possible. Where I draw the line is "Didn't manage to get tickets! " or "Managed to get some tickets! "Having said that: I managed to get some tickets! The previous two times I've seen Radiohead I was standing miles away in a field and the music was disappearing up into the sky. This time I'm going to be right on the front rail. I'm going to be practically standing on Thom's shoes. I'm going to be practically playing Jonny's guitar. They're going to play my dream setlist (Myxomatosis, Twisted Words, The Butcher, Dollars and Cents, Feral, obviously) and afterwards I'm going to kiss Colin. Everything is going to be perfect.

What band was that? Could you even get a sense of what it was supposed to look like from the ground?

That's U2, I believe. That was the highest-grossing tour ever, apparently... I'm sure Muse will build something to beat that stage set for shocking pomposity soon though.

U2. You get a pretty good idea of how it looks from the ground, but I imagine if you were really close up, you'd just see it as a large ineffective tent or something. I wasn't very close. Actually, the screen in the middle of the stage was pretty sweet. It started out as a big single circular screen, and then later on it drapes down into a bunch of staggered screens like in that photo.

I saw U2 with that stage in NZ, (Jay-Z opened, which was kind of a weird combo) by far the most impressive light show I've ever seen.

So even though I have tickets to the Brisbane show, I might be getting some more, better seats from my awesome friend who's mum is connected. Because currently I'm in row ZZ (Yes, it is as bad as you can imagine).

Just got back from the St. Louis show. Really amazing set, even though Thom forgot the words to Karma Police. After mumbling his way through part of it, he changed the lyrics to "this is what you get/when you forget the words". Two encores, included Giving Up The Ghost and Idioteque. Very good show.

So if they played St. Louis Friday night and are playing KC (a four-hour drive) Sunday night, what do you suppose they're doing today? Mark Twain's house? A nice cottage in the Ozarks?

Are they using both drummers on all the songs or just KoL stuff? I'm really regretting my decision not to go this time despite being poor and having already seen them twice before. Anyone wanna sneak me into the San Jose show? also, yrF posted:It's happening, that ponytail of his is sucking the brains from his skull.

Anyone wanna sneak me into the San Jose show? Mostly KoL stuff. He rarely added anything to the older songs and in many cases left the stage. I was particularly upset to see him leave the stage for There There and especially Reckoner. He could have hit that cymbal crash pattern changeup in Reckoner that Phil never does live (for good reason, it is pretty tricky)!
