I think it was killed after they didn't re-sign to EMI. Bad blood, licensing issues etc.

Just clicked on it and the link worked for me. Try again or check your ad blocker/browser settings.

I spot checked the two sources for the Colorado show, and they're both pretty similar imo (mainly wanted to hear National Anthem transition to Hunting Bears). I guess I'd probably give the edge to Schoeps MK4 recording. St. Louis is still the immaculate recording of the tour, but I gotta say Colorado, Houston and Kansas City all turned out very well.

Tonight's their last show for a few weeks. As you can probably tell, I'm really digging this tour, and will be curious to see if they change things up at all when they kick off the next leg in April.

They played Packt Like Sardines last night night - first time since 2001 or something. No recordings yet that I know of though. I wonder if it's a significantly different arrangement... I never liked their old live version of it much, tbh, it seemed messy.

e: holy poo poo it is different, much closer to the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t92w...eature=youtu.be

I like how they seem to be reserving one slot each night for obscure tracks and b-sides. They must have been working pretty hard to produce all these live arrangements of rare tracks. Except that if they waste it on some loving Bends b-side when I eventually see them in London, I'm going to leap onto the stage and do something rude.

I'm going to do that if they play The Butcher too, but for opposite reasons.

I guess I sort of forgot or didn't realize that they only played Packt on the tour after Amnesiac came out and then dropped it. It just feels like they play it a lot since I saw them a few times on that tour, I guess.

I really liked the old live arrangement-- Colin's fuzz bass was enormous and sounded huge ripping through those outdoor spaces.

Yeah I dig this, I kind of liked the old live version but it wasn't really representative of the album track, it was a different beast.

The Manchester gig in October is so far off, I wonder what the set lists will be like then? They might be a bit tired of touring, which I suggest they remedy by busting out some unreleased stuff

THE ITEMS INCLUDED IN THIS AMAZING SET ARE: 1 CREW ONLY DOUBLE SIDED SIZE LARGE T-SHIRT, A BROWN FEDORA HAT WITH A COLORED BANDANNA THAT THOM YORKE WORE BACKSTAGE AND RIGHT BEFORE HE WENT ON STAGE, HE HANDED IT TO BY ME BY THE BACKSTAGE DOOR AS HE WENT ON TO PERFORM. ALSO INCLUDED ARE 5 STAGE USED GUITAR PICKS(2 THOM YORKE DARK GRAY PICKS, 1 RARE BROWN MARBLE PICK WITH A WOMAN FIGURE ON IT, 1 JONNY GREENWOOD LIGHT GRAY PICK, AND 1 ED O'BRIAN-GREEN PICK) 3 STAGE USED SETLISTS( 1 HAS HAND WRITTEN NOTES BY THOM YORKE AND WAS FOUND BY HIS MIC STAND, 1 WAS OBTAINED NEAR PHIL SELWAY'S DRUM SET, AND THE OTHER ALSO HAS HAND WRITTEN NOTES BY JONNY GREENWOOD. 2 USED DRUMSTICKS FROM PHIL SELWAY(THERE WERE NO RADIOHEAD SIGNATURE STICKS AS THEY WERE ALL ELVIN JONES SIGNATURE JAZZ STICKS THAT PHIL SELWAY USES ON TOURS) ALSO INCLUDED IS AN EXTREMELY RARE STANLEY DONWOOD NUMBERED 18X24 LITHOGRAPH POSTER FOR THE SHOW THAT WAS HUNG BACKSTAGE NEAR THE DRESSING ROOM(HAS CREASES AND LOOKS A BIT USED, BUT OVER ALL A GREAT ONE OF A KIND POSTER THAT WAS NOT OBTAINABLE ANYWHERE ELSE, BUT AT THIS SHOW, A HANDWRITTEN NOTE TO THE GUITAR TECH ABOUT THOM NEEDING HIS ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOR THE LAST SONG, A SONG SHEET, 2 DOUBLESIDED BACKSTAGE SHEETS FOR DRESSING ROOM, CATERING, AND WOMENS TOILETS THAT HAVE THE TOUR DESIGN ON THEM, A BACKSTAGE CALL SHEET, A BACKSTAGE PASS SHEET, A TICKET STUB FOUND BY THE STAGE, AND 2 PLASTIC LEAVES THAT WERE ON THOMS MIC STAND. THESE ITEMS ARE 100 PERCENT AUTHENTIC AND STAGE USED AT THE PERFORMANCE ON 3/15/2012

Look! You can click on the picture and spy secret things. Like lyrics and chords to an as-yet unheard song, "Full Stop", featuring the most Thom Yorke lyrics for some time: "you really messed up everything / really messed up everything / your early messed up this time"! If you go to the ebay auction the zoom image function actually simulates the act of peering at the stash from a distance using binoculars, desperate for the latest Radiohead clues.

Maybe it's just me, but I often find being a Radiohead fan extremely funny. Especially considering their reputation for being gloomy and depressive. So much about this band - and its fanbase - is so endearingly silly.

Fortunately, Idioteque is one of the songs that is still a complete staple of an RH show. They basically always play it and in my experiences it is always one of the highlights of their sets. EVERYONE goes crazy when that beat starts to come together and then the synth line comes in

I attended the Penderecki/Greenwood concert in London tonight. The Penderecki stuff went: "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE". The Greenwood stuff went: "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEpopopopopopopopopopopopop". It was great! It was conducted by Penderecki himself, and at the end, Jonny appeared on stage to wave at everyone. He looked a bit embarrassed.

I passed Ed coming out of the toilets. Didn't say anything because I expect the building wasn't short of fans recognising him and I didn't want to contribute to the unending nightmare of his celebrity lifestyle. You'll know this already, Radiohead fans, but he's very tall. That's what I noticed about him. And he had quite nice shoes.

This particular lavatory had those old-fashioned long, trough-like urinals, and though the urine Ed contributed to it was perhaps not as distinguished as the other urine in it, or as present in the mix, everyone agreed it had a certain ambient - almost spooky - quality that added vital texture and colour, and that the urinal would be greatly diminished without it.

Well when I said "sounds pretty great" I was only talking about the recording itself, not the performance. The band seems to typically have a flub or two in every show (and on rare occasion, completely poo poo the bed like St. Louis' Karma Police), but that's part of the appeal.

Based purely on sound quality, there have been several amazing recordings so far in the tour. St. Louis and the above linked Glendale are the best imo, with the two Colorado recordings close behind. Had the previously mentioned recordings not existed, I'd say Houston and Atlanta were the typical "above average" audience recordings and a must-get.

I haven't listened to it yet, but I hear the recording from Austin (not the City Limits show) is pretty good as well. Supposedly a fantabulous Tampa recording is on the way eventually as well.
