Thom gave an interview a few years ago where he said they taped the show, and will be releasing it on DVD eventually. It's been 6 years though, so I wouldn't hold your breath for it to come out any time soon

I like how they seem to be reserving one slot each night for obscure tracks and b-sides. They must have been working pretty hard to produce all these live arrangements of rare tracks. Except that if they waste it on some loving Bends b-side when I eventually see them in London, I'm going to leap onto the stage and do something rude.

I'm going to do that if they play The Butcher too, but for opposite reasons.

I think it had to do with the fact that Myxomatosis wasn't originally on the setlist and Thom wanted to amp up the crowd. To be honest, the crowd was pretty tame from what I saw there.
