The Deadly Hume posted:Got a tick to the Friday show at Rod Laver. I opted for a seat because GA is probably going to be a bit hectic. (Hey, I'm getting old.) The first time I visited the site today it was sold out but I tried again a few minutes later and got something. The second tier seats have yet to come on sale, I've noticed. I wouldn't be surprised if they bung on third shows for Sydney and Melbourne, either. I got Saturday at Rod Laver, 100 pounds for standing (I'm too young to sit down ). Pricey but worth it. Finally get to see them.

blacksun posted:I hate everything, I missed the tickets for the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on their website and now I have to wait for stupid GA tickets (that is unless my friend comes through with some tickets). There's a presale tomorrow here: http://www.facebook.com/chuggentertainment I was only in my car for 2 minutes this morning but that was enough time to hear that Radiohead are touring. Went to their website as soon as I got into work to check details and was surprised to see they were on sale already. So pleased I don't have to gently caress around with goddamn Tickettek.

It's so good that I got tickets on Monday from the Radiohead website. I was only there to check details of the shows. I didn't realize they would be on sale already. Now I don't need to go anywhere near Ticketek. Completely stress-free purchase.

Reading all that, I still can't believe how easy it was for me to buy my tickets.

He looks like a cross between Brett Anderson and Duff McKagan.

The Deadly Hume posted:Oh god I keep remembering I've actually booked for November. It's a pity Caribou won't be following them out to Australia since I like his stuff too, instead some support act I've never heard of. I saw Caribou live 5 years ago and they were fantastic. I'm not sure how his music would work in somewhere like Rod Laver Arena though. I have no idea who that support is either.
